Why don't I have the option to share some facebook posts?
If a friend or a page I have 'liked' posts a link to another website on the newsfeed I often don't have the option to share. Just like or comment. If I go to the Facebook app the same post has the option to share. I am trying to use Facebook in Firefox so that I don't need the Facebook app.

Depends on your friends posts settings. If they only share the item with Friends or another limited group then you will not be able to share the post. https://www.facebook.com/help/120939471321735 and https://www.facebook.com/help/211513702214269
Thank you, but that doesn't explain why I can share a post in the Facebook at but not have the option to share the same post in the Firefox browser app.
If you see different behavior between the Facebook app and the Facebook website then that would be an issue for Facebook to resolve. Please explain the issue in as much detail as possible to them at https://www.facebook.com/help/326603310765065/
