I searched how to disable any random new AI features Firefox was about to cram into the browser.

I was served this support page that says I can "Block new and current AI features (single switch)"

Simply, the described feature to disable AI features isn't in the settings. I've look and tried searching for "Block AI enhancements" & "AI controls" but no luck.

Please tell me they haven't given the writing of support pages to some shitty LLM.

I searched, and all the internet results I find tell me to look in the settings:applications:mailto ddlb and select Yahoo. The problem is that it's not there.

There is a "use other" but there's no hint on how I'd tell it to open https://mail.yahoo.com.

How do I get it to open Yahoo mail?

This is on W11.

How can I configure questions so that responses might be useful? I am specifically looking for time choices e.g. current, last six months, this year, etc.

Today (06/12/2025) upon opening a new tab, Firefox slid the new option of uploading a custom picture to apply to the background. Tried the new feature, now I can not find the setting that allows me to change the picture. I read the thread "Customize your wallpapers". The instructions are as follows; You can personalize your Firefox New Tab page by adding one of the available wallpapers. Follow these steps:

  1. In the right corner of the New Tab page, click the gear IG settings icon.
  2. In the customization panel, under the Wallpapers section, you will see different categories like Solid colors, Abstract and Photographs.

       Click the category you prefer. For example, selecting Abstract will show a variety of abstract designs. 

The problem I have is the customization panel is no where to be seen, I have click on EVERYTHING possible, it is not in my settings, why? How do find this?

I suspect Firefox Relay is not allowing me to sign into a site on the internet. Following instructions I put the Relay Dashboard in my Firefox Settings or so I thought. How do I locate it?

Hi. I'm asking this question because I'm not quite sure how to describe this issue through a Google search. Recently, I've noticed that whenever I click and drag anything, an icon will pop up while I'm doing so. Attached is an example, I click-and-dragged on the "Learn More" hyperlink off to the right.

Is there any way to disable the icon that pops up? It bothers me and seems to slow things down, which isn't ideal. I'm not the most well-versed when it comes to Firefox's more advanced settings (the options in about:config and whatnot) so I wouldn't know where to start.

The release notes for Firefox version 140.0.1 indicate the extension button can can now be removed from the toolbar.the noes say:

"Firefox Extensions: Customize your toolbar with the option to remove the extensions shortcut, giving you more control over your browser. When the button is hidden, you can access the extensions panel again at any time from the Firefox menu by clicking the Extensions menu item."

I still cannot drag the button down and out of sight by customising the toolbar.

FF ver 140. just loaded and now all my sidebar bookmark fonts are black on black. How do I change the sidebar bookmark font back to white? When I disabled all Themes the white color came back, but enabling any theme and they the font turns black again.

A few days ago I changed to a new computer.

On my old Windows 11 computer in Firefox I could sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, edit my posts, post new posts and see the sign out option.

But on my new Windows 11 computer in Firefox I can sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, but I can't edit my posts. I am signed in but Firefox doesn't show the sign out option.

Whereas on my new computer in Chrome I can sign in with my [edited] @gmail account to my Blogger blog, see the New Posts page, edit my posts, post new posts, and see the sign out option. As always.

In Firefox it says there is something wrong with my [edited] @gmail account and to refresh it or change to another account. I don't now how to refresh it and changing to another Gmail won't work. But it lets me in to my blog's New Posts page!

How can I in Firefox on my new computer edit my posts and see the sign out option, as before and as always in Chrome?

How come there is no option to turn off "Firefox Translation"? I speak three languages and every time I visit foreign web site, Firefox suggest translation to me. It's annoying.

I like Ctrl+Shift+B to open the Library (Manage Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks). For maybe two years I was using this, but it stopped working in 117:

Dorando keyconfig isn't current. Shortkeys won't even install and probably won't do what I want anyway. AutoHotkey will do it, but I'd rather not use it for this.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Hi. I cannot use stripe payments. I am using FF vLatest and have added it to the popup blocker exception list and every other exception list I can find. I have done this for http://stripe.com and for whatever website is trying to use stripe. No stripe payments ever work and I always get the same error attached. I have tried another browser and it works. How can I find out at least what is blocking the payments so I can disable it?
