I'm coming back to Thunderbird, from bluemail, and was wondering if you could add a feature they had. Essentially, you could tap on the profile icon in the inbox, and you'd get a screen with all the messages you had from that address. From there, you had a button at the bottom of the screen that would open a menu with options to: message, mark all read, and delete all. Theres a confirmation dialog after the delete all option is tapped.

Is this something you could add?

Something is wrong with Thunderbird. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Unable to get inbox emails. Infact no emails are coming. You can see the processing circle working but never completes action. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or the app is the problem. Using Samsung tablet. All apps updated. Please help.

I have Thunderbird on Android 15. I can not move an accidentaly deleted message back to the inbox.

In Thunderbird > settings > general settings > visualization > visible message management (approximate translation from other language) I have selected "move".

I suspect that this is an error.

When reading an email, the "Mark as unread" button at the top does not work. Instead, it closes the email as expected but does not change the status from "read" to "unread". This used to be functional before the most recent update.

I'm not sure where to go with feature requests, I didn't find that at all on my mobile... But, let me shoot, and you shoot me down if I wasted your time.

1. I would like to be able to archive directly from the Android notification. That's currently not an option.
2. I would love to have the time stamped directory option for archiving that we have on desktop. Right now on Android we can only go the to the "archive" directory.

So, what I really do now, as I read most of my e-mails on mobile, but do some specific processing on desktop, is mark it either as read or archive it on mobile. Then I go to desktop and archive it again...

Mail notifications remains on the home screen and need to be removed manually. I had expected them to be removed after reading the mail or marking it as read. A notification summary with the number of received mails instead of a notification for each mail, as an option, would have been nice. /Sten

I would like to report what appears to be a bug in Thunderbird for Android.

I use a POP3 account with the following settings:

POP3 Port 995 SSL/TLS

The same account works correctly in Thunderbird for Windows.

The problem only occurs in Thunderbird for Android.

What happens:

New emails arrive and are initially displayed in Thunderbird for Android. After the next synchronization, some messages disappear from the Inbox. The messages are not deleted from the server because they are still visible in Thunderbird for Windows. I also tested the same POP3 account in Samsung Email on the same Android phone. Samsung Email continues to show the messages correctly while Thunderbird for Android no longer shows them.

Troubleshooting already performed:

Reinstalled Thunderbird for Android. Removed and added the account again. Tested on both my Android phone and Android tablet. The same problem occurs on both devices.

Is this a known issue with POP3 accounts, or is there another setting I should check?

It is very painful to move each email message at a time to another folder. There is a requirement for selecting multiple messages and moving them to a folder. Want to know if this feature is available and if not would like to request it.

I realize that I can select all the messages in either the trash or the spam folder and then delete them, but the empty trash button does not work in version 21.0. it worked perfectly in the prior versions.

The options for my folders are all generic

I am using a Gmail account

I have folders

Specific folders

They only option Thunderbird is giving me is none

I uploaded the Thunderbird Android App to my Galaxy S24 Mobile Phone and can't get it to show the various Folders (Inbox, etc), nor does it upload my Email Addresses.

Android app. TB version 20: can only see inbox. How do I find trash, spam, and other folders in my account. The app is the current version on Play Store. Tips say go to the appearance menu but I don't seem to have one. Please help. Thanks

I've switched from K-9 to Thunderbird for Android.

One difference I've noticed is that the message notifications remain in the launcher even after I've deleted those messages in Thunderbird. Thus, I have to handle messages twice.

Is there a setting to make notifications go away when the underlying messages have been deleted?

I know how i can add an image or a banner in an email in the desktop version, i also know how i can make a sort of banner with a signature file in the desktop version.

But i would really like to know how i can use a email banner or image and center it in the middle of the top of the email when i use the android app. is that possible? And which steps do i need to take?

I rescue dogs, puppies, then I do the best I can to find the best homes and families that I can for them . I use Craigslist where the don't want you to give them away for free . You are allowed to ask for a small rehoming fee . Some of these people ask for $500 dollars or more . That's not a "small rehoming fee in my world ". I say "if" they can reimburse me for the puppy's shots I'd appreciate it , but that is all . I don't believe you have to have a lot of money to care for a dog .Well my philosophy has been getting my adds flagged and taken down almost as soon as they go up . Which means my puppies don't get adopted when they are the most adoptable . I have reviewed their rules a number of times and I don't believe I violate them .I've changed the wording of my add to closely match other ads on the site but still I get flagged by other users and taken down. I am begging to believe it's from puppy dealers/sellers trying to make a buck and my puppies are cheaper .I don't want money for them I want homes , good homes .So I need a new email so they won't flag me .I suppose I might have to change it relatively often.....is this possible ?
