I have had a government website to log into for informatin from them. It was always auto-filled. I have asked for support from them and they gave me another number to call and I did everything they asked, but then I got a little note saying that that site is not longer available and that it was cleared when I cleared the cache. I have tried creating a new account and even that doesn't work. Is there any way to get that website back?

I have a problem with video play and most of the answers say to set media.benchmark.vp9.fps

Where is it? Where do I set this parameter? I search firefox hep to locate this and get nothing except other posts saying to set this parameter, but none of them explain where to find it. ?????

When I would go into Bing, I would go into settings and change from "Moderate" to "Strict"; I would also uncheck "Search Suggestions" so suggestions don't fill in as I type. Then I would click "Save". Until recently, these settings held with no problem. Now after I click "Save" and go back to the main screen in Bing (or come back to Bing after being somewhere else), I'm back to "Moderate" and suggestions fill in as I type. Microsoft claims this is Firefox's issue and needs to be fixed at Firefox's end. Others are posting on Microsoft's answers forums, some also using Firefox, but not all. I love Firefox and I'm not changing to something else, so can you tell me how this Bing issue might be fixed? Thank you.

See attached image. Things I want to be able to do, which were once easily accomplished with Tab Mix Plus. When I type in search bar, open in new tab. When I type in address bar, open in new tab. Have new tab open at far right (be the last tab) so it is easy to locate. Ability to protect pinned tabs to protect them from being accidentally closed. Currently, links still open in new tabs but not bookmarks and history. I'm in over my head. I just don't know how to get things to work the way they once did with Tab Mix Plus and don't know why this wonderful add-on isn't valued by Firefox. Thanks!

Firefox would not finishing loading so I (stupidly) clicked "refresh firefox" not realizing it would loose add-ons, extensions, etc. It created an Old Firefox Data folder if that can somehow get it back to as it was instead of having to figure what add-ons I had & reinstall everything, etc. My Bookmarks still appear but I need the add-ons back!

hello all- When Sync job cycles, what is hierarchy determining which component version (Bookmarks, logins, etc) is applied to profiles on other computers?

Two computers, A and B. Bookmark file on A last revised two days ago. Bookmark file on B last revised 60 days ago. I need all profile components on B to match A. Essentially B is updated to A's version.

How does synch determine which version is the 'Master' used to overwrite the versions on other computers?

I saw in another thread that Synch uses latest modification date to set priority. This would seem to be the most logical criterion. But I want to be sure before cycling Sync.

(Spent 10 minutes searching threads before posting this question. There were some oblique references hinting at prioritization, but not an absolute statement describing prioritization.) thanks!

When I open Firefox, I'm getting ** 12 ** instances of Firefox opening up and spamming the hell out of my hard drive (even slowing down other processes), even without opening a page (I have mine set to not open any pages on loading Firefox). This is annoying and intolerable. I have looked around to find a workaround, but the only post was from last year, and gives instructions to turn off recommended settings, then says to set Firefox instances to 1, where there is no way to do that in that section on the version I'm running. So, how do I fix this? I want the hard drive spamming stopped.

I've recently noticed that some icons on websites are showing up as "asian" characters. I haven't knowingly changed any settings, gone to any strange sites, nor added any extensions. I've tried clearing the cache and even removed and reinstalled firefox and the few extensions I use, which are the common ones like adaware, etc. Nothing has seemed to work. The icons range from ones that link to facebook, twitter, etc to the search icon. If I inspect the icon it says the font is "MingLiU_HKSCS" I've checked the setting and it says the font is times new roman and even unchecked the box that says "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" but neither seems to work. Thanks for your help

After auto update from Firefox 95 to Firefox 96. If net page have some video, computer freeses and Task manager come full of processes (over 20) c:\program Files\mozilla Firefox\minidump-analyzer.exe c:\windows\system32\conhost.exe.

Same happened if i load some youtube video page. Only way to correct this problem is downgrade to version 95 and disable auto update.

How i can restore my bookmarks from new version to old one ?

Windows version is server 2008 R2
