Settings that I've tried to change so far and that didn't help: Hardware acceleration - disable dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled webgl.all-angle-options webgl.enable-privileged-extensions webgl.force-enabled

Have no any issues with pasting and maps in Edge browser

I like Firefox with one exception. The right-click print feature is missing in the drop-down menu. I can print from the Application Menu but the 'print' feature is missing using the mouse right-click menu. The right-click feature does work using other browsers. hi there, I'm using FF147.0.3 on a windows 11 version 25H2 laptop. I use google as my default search engine. When I open a new tab the google search page opens as usual. But now all of a sudden as soon as I start typing, search suggestions are appearing in the address box and not in the main google search page bar.

I've tried "settings-search-address bar" and turned off all features but that had no effect on the problem. I've reset the laptop several times but the issue still remains.

This problem is really annoying so any help would be great. Cheers Jeff

I have a two monitor setup. Since I installed the new AMD driver (26.1.1), sometimes when I play a game on my main monitor, and watch stream on Twitch in Firefox on my second monitor, it can cause the PC to freeze completely. I hear the sound, but the image is stuck.

I tried to disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox, and it seemed like a good solution. But because of that (which is its function), sites became laggy.

Is this a Firefox, or an AMD issue? Or Windows (I'm on Windows 11 25H2)? I will try to install an older AMD driver, but honestly streams had became laggy before the driver update for me.

I've tuned in to Firefox this morning to find that I'm kind of shut out, no access to my usual apps, and required to enact some difficult backing up etc. When I explore, it seems to relate to Windows 10 losing its backup from Microsoft. But I'm running Windows 11, not 10. What's going on? Is this legitimate? If so, why is it complicated and why wasn't it forewarned (by Firefox)?

I have been having trouble with my Windows 11 laptop. In my efforts to resolve these issues I noticed that I now have two installs of Firefox in my Control Panel. Both installed during my time of dealing with my Windows issue. Five days apart Feb 5 and 10, 2026. Both show the same version number 147.0.3, and same size 322MB. I have used FF for many years so these seem to have been installed sometime during my efforts to repair Windows. My FF was never a part of the Windows issue AFAIK.

Anyway I have FF working as I like with my Session Manager and various AddOns and personal settings, so I do not want to have to start over with FF. So how do I choose which instance of FF to uninstall in Control Panel?

My issue with Windows was my Outlook would not connect to the server. I assume Microsoft Exchange server, my internet connectivity was fine. And FF was fne as well. I eventually was able to repair my M365 connectivity. Major PITA from out of nowhere.

Normally Firefox sponsor ads on home page occasionally inserts an new ad. I will support some occasional ads by clicking on the new ad to give Firefox 'click credit' then deleting new ad. Today when I delete the new ad another pops up 10-15 times an will not stop. That is too much. I do voluntarily support Firefox with monthly donation.

How do I stop the constantly returning ads?

I accidentally typed my protonmail password into the field of my username/mail address. I don't remember what more I did (propably answered yes to save) but now there is as autofilled my password for username always I open my Protonmail account. I am using Firefox as browser (should be the newest version) while Emailing.

I tried to delete autofill of Firefox according to the next advise: "go to Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to "Forms and Autofill," and uncheck "Autofill addresses" to stop saving them"

Then I was astonished. There is no "Forms and Autofill" setting on my Firefox at all!

Protonmail settings didn't help either nor Windows 11 - neither FAQ.

I set the about:config settings when I got the new computer early last year. It's been working fine. Suddenly, searches are popping up again to the urlbar.

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar is still set to false. Keyword.enabled is still set to false.

I see a couple of site references to browser.fixup.alternate.enabled, but it doesn't exist.

How do I get FF back to proper search in the search bar?

Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.

Previous solution: switch browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false does not work anymore.

Please help.

I had to actually sign up fort a Mozilla account,the multiple hoops I had to jump through were ridicules, in order to ask a question of Firefox. I do not want my address bar to be my search engine. How do I disable the search engine in my address bar? And now I have to wait for an answer!!!!!!!! I used to love and trust Firefox. Not anymore.

hi i am unable to use the middle search bar on the firefox screen , i understand that this search bar is a dummy bar, i have been told that to make this bar work you have to alter the settings using about:config process, and changing the handoff from ture to false , to which I have done in the past and it has worked , but for a reason I cannot understand this seems not to work now , i am completely lost now and i am reaching out to the community for help and advise thank you . Hey, I have a new laptop and want to login to my account. My account is an hotmail.com one. After giving the password Mozilla is suppose to send me an email with an authentification number. The email is not coming. Not in the spam section, anywhere. Tried multiple times, same issue. Add Mozilla to my contact list, nothing changes. Tried to change my Mozilla account email address, not possible as I need to pass through this process again. Is my only option to delete my account and creat a new one with another email address?
