My website is shown as insecure. If I open it with Chrome, it is okay. If my girlfriend opens it from her computer with firefox, it is okay too. What is wrong here?

I am using latest of Firefox and DuckDuckGo. When I type something in the main search bar (in the middle of screen) the text moves to the search field in the toolbar area. I find this annoying. I want to text to remain in the main search bar (middle of screen). Any solution?

The email address that I have used ever since email began has been [edited] @qis.net. Unfortunately, the inbox storage space on Quantum Internet Service (QIS) is only 1GB. I use Thunderbird for emails (recommended by QIS). The account with QIS is an IMAP account.

Yesterday at 4:40pm my inbox became full even though I have moved a bunch of the emails with larger attachments to offline folders within Thunderbird. That's when the nightmare started. No incoming emails can get delivered at this time. Have been in contact with QIS (I personally know everyone there including the owners. They're good people) It seems that we do not have a way to get into the inbox and remove files from their server (s).

After working all night trying to sole this mess, I have set up a new email address to maintain a form of communications on a major engineering project.

The new email address for me should be changed to : [edited] @gmail.com

Please make this change at Firefox. When I try to login on Firefox, it sends a code to the old, non-usable email address. Since the inbox at QIS is full, I can't read it to get the code to respond. If the code can be sent SMS to my cell phone, that would be fine. [removed phone# from public support forum] is the number to use.

I hope all this makes some sense at your end. I am not a guru with this stuff and a very dear friend of mine who was an "IT guru", as I called him, has passed away about 1 year ago.

I appreciate any help you give.

I have installed firefox in my laptop for years. after latest update, firefox runs just fine only for the 1st time, then after closing the app / restarting the laptop, firefox keep giving error (attached) I have tried to refresh, run troubleshoot mode, uninstall and reinstall again at one point I was able to recreate the issue only after reinstalling firefox 126.0.1 portable version and then syncing to the profile ( run ok for 1st time, then it broke down after closing it) The problem also seems repeatable using firefox 115 protable Now, I tried to reinstall the portable version from scratch, it keeps hitting same error from 1st run

I have also double check the firewall and antivirus to make its not blocking All other browsers works just fine

I just uninstalled firefox for personal use at home (Still use it for work).

I tried to change now given chromium is about to be neutered with ad blockers etc.

This was my feedback - Extremely disappointed and non-functional profile option/s. Wanted to provide feedback that hopefully someone sees, as there is going to be a mass migration to FF soon and if they do NOT fix the below, people will give up fast.

Firefox MUST have multiple profile support under 1 login, not combine them. The thought of having to sign up a completely separate second account/email for a second Firefox 'account' with a second 'mfa' token just to separate personal and work is ludicrous.

I want to sign in, pick my profile as personal / work and then it syncs my diff favourites, plugins etc. per profile for work or personal depending where I am, NOT SHARE them all on 1 login. This is not possible and a huge disappointment considering these features are considered basic in other browsers."

Until firefox does this, it is unusable for multi work/private profiles and signing up a second Firefox account is just silly.

I know I can install a website blocker - which I have, but it does not apply to the private window so I have full access to social media on it, I just have to log in. I contact you because, even without an adblocker, Youtube is very slow with Firefox navigator. I don't understand why and I don't have this problem with Google Chrome ? Fews years earlier, I never had this problem with slow Youtube when using Firefox Navigator. I don't know if the problem comes from Youtube or Mozilla and I contacted both of them.

Je vous contacte car, même sans bloqueur de publicité, Youtube est très lent avec le navigateur Firefox. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi et je n'ai pas ce problème avec Google Chrome ? Quelques années plus tôt, je n'avais jamais eu ce problème de lenteur avec Youtube lorsque j'utilisais Firefox Navigator. Je ne sais pas si le problème vient de Youtube ou de Mozilla et je les ai contactés tous les deux.

I usually download and install manually the custom install of Firefox on Windows.

Recently, a new version was automatically installed without my permission and destroyed all my customization. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I had to restore the older version from backup and I was going to stop updating.

But I see that the manual custom installation is still available for download.

I want to make sure that if I use it it will not wipe out my customization again.

Please confirm.

As the title says, it is very slow with Ublock Origin. I have refreshed Firefox and without Ublock it obviously works but I would like to keep the extension because it is the only one that works with Youtube Ads right now.

I am getting "Secure Connection Failed", Ive seen literally hundereds of same error also exist here. Like most of default solution (which is below) did not work for me. My laptops time is correct, And I highly doubt reddit and most of internet has issue with its security certificates. And other browser works just fine. I would like to force spellcheck for all websites, and override any HTML code from the websites. which may be disabling it. This should be done automatically and not by inspecting and manually altering the HTML. I consulted with ChatGPT and tried adding some code to my existing userChrome.css but it is having no effect, even after clearing cache and restarting Firefox. For instance, faxzero.com has a form with spellcheck disabled. I tinkered with the CSS and kept testing faxzero, but the spellcheck always remains disabled. How can I accomplish my goal?

Can't log on to x.com. Getting this message: "Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com".

I added x.com and twitter.com as an exception in Settings/Enhanced Tracking Protection and still not working.

When you go into 'Manage Bookmarks' and click on 'Import/Backup Bookmarks' is there a way to clear out the list of files listed when you hover over 'Restore ->' which brings up the list of recent bookmark files that you have restored?
