You can't add entries to that drop down list yourself as those are managed automatically by giving bonus poits (frecency algorithm).
You can remove a highlighted entry by pressing the Delete key (Shift+Delete on Mac) unless they have a star and are bookmarked.
- Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
- Highlight an entry in the drop down list
- Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
