I can't use ThunderBird mail because of the donate banner. I already donated with this email. How can I get rid of the banner.

Hi Solomon.

We don't have anything that blocks using Thunderbird.

If what you see is in its own tab, you will want to close the tab. If it reappears after restarting Thunderbird, please let us know so we can investigate.

If what you see is below the message list pane, you need only click on a message for the banner to go away.

Thanks Wane,

Your solution is correct but only partial. [ if what you see is below the message list pane, you need only click on a message for the banner to go away. ] The above then limits your overview of the emails in the mailbox. I am now seeing only four messages above the banner. Choosing one will give you access to the message, but you are basically forced to scroll through all your messages.

I am not sure about your other 'own tab' suggestion, but I will look into it.

Thanks

Hi Solomon,

A screen image would be helpful.

I'm guessing that your message body pane is just too big. You can click and drag the divider line between the message list pane and the message body pane to change their relative sizes. Does that help?
