Android s10+ Any file I download on the android version of firefox has no date information and I think means it's not sorted or unable to be sorted. I was only able to find the files using a fire explorer app to which then I would have to move them to give them a modifed property for date information. I cannot find the files on the default system 'My Files' and 'Gallery' apps along with an android system file explorer. I cannot use an external download manager as most are not supported with android v81 (I believe that is the version) so it would be preferable to find a solution early on. I was only able to find one twitter user experiencing similar issues: https://twitter.com/polytrophic/status/1309183985621368838?s=20

What is the modification that you are making to the files when you have found them?

Hi

Firefox for Android does not have a built in download manager, but this is something we are working on and may be included in a future update. In the meantime, you will be able to find your downloaded files in the “Files/Downloads” folder on your Android device.

Hello and thank you for replying, Seburo. I should have clarified that I do find my images in the download folder but are only visible by 1 app of mine. I have to then modify the files (moving or renaming them) for other apps to be able to view them. Even the samsung video app cannot view the videos until I do this process.

Anything like renaming or moving them to a new folder. I can move them back to the downloads folder easily after moving them originally and they will stay visible.
