Hi. My question is. Is it possible to configure FF for Android to show "Top Sites" screen when I tap on address bar of a tab I'm currently browsing in? Imagine a scenario: you open a tab, navigate to web page and browse. Let's say, 10 min later, you are done with this page and you want to open another of your Top Sites, in the same tab (recycle the tab). When you click on address bar of this tab, empty screen shows up (or with one option to navigate to URL from clipboard). Once you start typing, FF shows either most visited sites or search suggestions. But BEFORE you start typing, screen shows NOTHING. This is a huge waste of opportunity IMHO. Can we do this screen cusomizable? Have a setting to show either Top Sites or Bookmarks? Without this, you have to close existing tab, open new one and then, you will be able to see Top Sites screen and navigate to another web page. This is a lot of tapping.

I really how there is a way (or there will be a way) to get Top Sites shown upon activation of address bar.

Regards Tomasz

Try to long-press the squared number icon and select + New Tab.

I think that the UX team is going to re-think this process, they are aware of these issues.

Thanks for quick response "TyDraniu" (he he, Polish yay!). This helps but still, there is a matter of Tab I no longer need. I can open a new one and start with Top Sites but I still have to go back and close the Tab I no longer need. This is everything but efficient :) It would be just easier to recycle/reuse the Tab I'm already working with. That would also be nice to my device memory :)
