Recently reinstalled High Sierra 10.13.3. Now Firefox won't let me choose the desktop when I want to save a file from AOL or from a website. I have refreshed and reinstalled Firefox.

Explain in detail how you are saving. Have you tried saving to a different location?

I have an e-mail open and want to save it to a folder on the desktop. I click save and then click desktop to select the folder and get the desktop cannot be found message. Or I have a research image selected during a search and click save image then click desktop and get the desktop not found message. The only place I can save to is the download folder. This problem has just begun since upgrades to the MacBook Pro.
