Hi, I was a heavy user of the multi-account containers extension. Since FF now has that functionality built in I disabled the extension recently (more than a week ago). My company keeps FF up to date - currently on 153.0.3 aarch64

All tests have been performed with other extensions (ublock origin and auto-reader view) disabled.

Since the last update (last wednesday I think, 5th. Aug.) I've been unable to access the AWS or Azure portals from a container tab, though it works correctly from the 'bare' browser.

I've cleared cookies and site data for the whole browser (made no difference)

I've cleared cookies and site data for the container tab - this now allows me to sign into Azure (which is a prerequisite to signing into AWS), but AWS is still blocked with a microsoft message "We cannot sign you in, try a different user name"

If I use the bare browser, no container, I can sign into the AWS SSO portal correctly.

What can I check to help diagnose this? MacOS Tahoe 26.6.1 Firefox 153.0.3

I am unable to press new tab or even use Command T to open a new Tab. The New Tab button seems greyed out as if I've hit the limit for tabs, but I don't have too many tabs open. Not even the keyboard shortcut is working which quite surprising. I am able to create new tabs if I open a new window, so I am not completely unable to create new tabs, but i was just curious as to why this might be happening to my current window.

The plus sign to add a new window has disappeared. I search and went into Customize toolbar but there is no option to add the + sign back in. This happened previously and I was able to fix it. Now I can't. What is going on? what are you doing with firefox to make it so difficult to use. NOW I have to use chrome. I have been a loyal advocate for firefox for decades!

When i downloaded the app, it automatically came with the ability to group tabs, but after i customized several settings it took all of my tabs out of the groups and i can't group them anymore. The settings i changed ranged from privacy to personalization, i tried to reverse some of them to see if that would help and did a bunch of back and forth, but it's still not coming back. (Im trying to leave chrome because i noticed it had some very concerning lack of privacy settings that messed with my phone's ability to function properly if i turned them off. And Edge is worse.) Firefox seems better, but without the group tabs option it makes it waaaay too ridiculous to try and do any real work with it. I do a lot of multitasking and research and need to be able to bounce around and organize stuff. Your help stuff on tab groups doesnt say anything about how to turn it on or off. So... how do i get it back?

Is there another way to reopen my recently closed tabs which happened yesterday. When I hit the HISTORY button, the arrow I tried to open ( 'recently closed tabs' ) was not accessible (grey). Or did I accidentally hit a wrong button without noticing it, and how can I reverse it if I did? Thanks in advance.

I used to use the Google browser and within that I had a tool where I could put what looked like a sticky note on my emails and make notes like when I received the email, when I followed through on it, etc. I hear there is a tool like that for Firefox named Tags but cannot find it in my Settings. Has anyone found this and can you tell me how to access it if you have?

I found one extension but it says its not monitored by firefox and it wants some permissions that I'm iffy about given the warning. I want the multiple tabs back at the top. I haven't been able to follow any directions online because either I don't know what words/places are, or the place I'm supposed to click on doesn't exist. I'm using Chrome at the moment, but would like to go back to Firefox if there is an easy fix.

In Settings I have checked the box to open previous windows and tabs and yet it doesn't open any of them .

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?
