I want to change the security rule. I have to get a code from my email in order to login to paypal. I wouldnt have any problem doing a text. Is there anything I can do?

It is becoming a serious pain in my butt that it seems every time I turn around that I have to log BACK into my mozilla account. and when I do I ALWAYS have to wait on an e-mail code. and when I get it I have to click into the field before I can paste in the code.

Are you guys going out of your way to make this a pain in my ass?

Do you have some way I can use an authenticator or Yubi key?

Do I H A V E to use 2nd factor? I have a password manager with unique strong passwords. I feel like you guys are living in the 90 when passwords was new and rotating passwords was concidered best practice.

and why is it that many websites do not function properly unless I am logged into my mozilla account? Youtube especially doesn't function right unless I am logged into Mozilla with my firefox browser. Are you guys tracking me?

I am a subscriber to Mozilla Relay that includes the "Phone Mask". I believe I correctly configured everything ages ago, but am feeling VERY FRUSTRATED whereby I am trying to purchase tickets for a local event and the SMS code (that expires in 15 seconds) sent to my mozilla phone mask is NOT getting to my iPhone. Isn't there an end-to-end test you all have to track down misconfigurations or other issues?

I have lost access to the primary email on the account. I have 2fa setup on the account and I have backup recovery codes. When I go to add another email it sends a code to the primary email, which has no access. Is there a way to use either 2fa or backup codes instead of the code sent to primary email?

Trying to sync Firefox to my mobile device. I get to this point where Firefox on my computer says:

Enter authentication code to continue to account settings Open your authentication app and enter the authentication code it provides.

It wants a 6 digit code. But I don't have an authentication app. How can I set one up for Firefox to sync to my mobile device?

Of a sudden, Moz VPN needed a log in. I managed to get in by submitting a new PW, and was sent a phonbe text for the 2nd verification. Now, I still can't log into my year old VPN account on what must be a VPN upgrade or something, without having an Authenticator App. For Windows 11? I think I may know what a key is, but all I know for certain is I'm lost an having to try to find another VPN until somebody or some AI can get me into my Mozilla VPN again. Thanks.

I was randomly signed out of FireFox this morning. When trying to sign back in, it asked for the 6 digit code from my authenticator app. I looked on every authenticator app I have and don't see a mozilla or firefox account. I only have 4 backup authenticator codes left. How do I find the code in the authenticator app and which app would it be? Also, How do I get more backup codes? If I am unable to sign in to FireFox in the future because I don't have the correct authenticator app or enough backup codes, it would be painfully devastating for myself and my work. I don't want to ever be in that situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been locked out of my account and the two factor authentication does not work any longer. This is the first time this has ever happened to me.

I do not have a Backup Authentication code, but I am logged into Firefox on my mobile. Unfortunately, the iOS version does not have the ability to change my Security settings as instructed by the guide.

Can you please help me gain access to my account?

I;m using Firefox and Mozilla services from beginning, since I was child. I noted what MFA is not working, on my both accounts. it was my early guess also since last year but i fought it was my problem. No after resetting and getting notification what password is not correct makes me guess something is off. i might be wrong but looks like internal problem, maybe a breach what no one knows. what can i say from my side, as an IT company director and IT person. i can exclude all my thoughts about my side, since i changed and reinstalled everything on my devies. got fresh OS and hardened every device. problem still exists. maybe someone could check my accounts and internal settings for firefox security on accounts and MFA. since codes are not valid. had to disable mfa on my both accounts.
