When Facebook creates passkey Firefox asks for an USB to be inserted. I have tried to disable USB in the settings ("security.webauth.webauthn_enable_usbtoken","false"). But then Facebook just gets into a retry loop and I can't create the passkey. I use Windows 10, and USB is NOT enabled as an authentication option. I need to fix this as Facebook nags me (in e-mail) to create a passkey.

Hey, I have a new laptop and want to login to my account. My account is an hotmail.com one. After giving the password Mozilla is suppose to send me an email with an authentification number. The email is not coming. Not in the spam section, anywhere. Tried multiple times, same issue. Add Mozilla to my contact list, nothing changes. Tried to change my Mozilla account email address, not possible as I need to pass through this process again. Is my only option to delete my account and creat a new one with another email address?

i've been having an issue with back ups(not the problem here) but at one point, i changed a secondary account to the main one, and now when i try to log in, and it sends the verification email to my email account, i never get the emails, so i cant log back in, i dont recieve any of them, checked spam, and every folder i have, not only for that email account, but for all the ones i have connected to my mozilla account and i dont have any emails there, how can i fix this

Since yesterday I cannot log in to my hotmail accounts via Mozilla. It keeps coming up with the message "Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in". I select sending a code to an email to try a different way but it doesn't even send the code either so I simply cannot log in

I can log in via Microoft Edge so the issue appears to be with Mozilla but I have no idea what has happened or how to fix it

I love Mozilla so do not want to be forced to use Microsoft Edge :-(

I have tried 4-5 times today unsuccessfully to setup my Firefox browser on my new Mac laptop. Cannot seem to actually receive any emails from Firefox with the verification codes. Have checked my spam filters, no emails sent there. Nothing sent to other email folders. Made sure accounts@firefox is in my address book. Not forwarded to another email address. And have sent test emails to my account associated with my Firefox account. They come thru successfully. But nothing at all from Firefox. Is there an email problem today from the Firefox servers?

1) If I don't see an Https://"'at the beginning of your Mozilla url in the top of my address line I don't proceed further.

2) My cell phone isn't working presently so when you offer an option to confirm who I am by sending a number code to my cell phone number I'm unable to use that option it to confirm who I am. How 'bout coming up with an additional alternative or two for confirming?

I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. Now when I try to login to a platform, my verification codes to my phone are coming through too slow. What is causing the delay?

Every time I change my password or I try to change my password I get notifications double notifications actually one with an eight digit number one with the six digit number it's going to the same account but it's also going to another account in another town how do I stop this

I'm trying to setup 2fa on my account. It requires sending a code to my email which I then use to verify. These codes consistently are sent outside of the time window and as a result expired. I've added accounts@firefox.com to my contacts, and I've tried this on firefox desktop and firefox mobile on an iphone, and both produce the same results.

I'm on a gmail account and gmail flags these emails as suspicious despite being added as a contact, which likely means they are poorly formatted. Despite this flag, they are still sent to my inbox when they finally arrive.

This is incredibly frustrating as this is a service provided by basically every company and yet I have never seen it perform this poorly as it has with firefox.

About two years ago, I created an account on Mozilla, and by then I'd already set up two-step authentication using the app's Authenticator. But then I had to reset Windows and lost my backup keys and other stuff. Soon after, I experimented with other browsers and forgot about Firefox (I also deleted the Firefox profile in the Authenticator app). Now I've decided to log into my account, but since I can't log in without the app, I figured there's an option to log in using the email linked to the account (I have access to it), but for some reason, they're asking me for an account recovery key. So, I know my email address and have the password for it, but I can't log into my account without the Authenticator app. To try this alternative, I need to know the account recovery key, but I've lost it too. So, I'd be very grateful if anyone knows a solution to this problem. For reference, I also logged out of my Mozilla account on other devices and I haven't received any emails related to this situation (like checking email, etc.).

Firefox Account verification emails never arrive. Password works. Sync works on existing devices. New device verification email is never delivered. Account appears stuck in verification state.

I have a fingerprint scanner and a slot for a security key, but I have never used a security key, either in the slot or a USB plugin.

When I try to go to Gmail, I enter my gmail address, and then Firefox pops up a screen wanting me to insert my security key, and there are no buttons to change how I verify my identity.

I've hunted all around for what setting in Firefox is causing it, but no luck so far. Ideas?

My main Email Got Hacked how can I change my email or add a Account recovery key to my mozilla account or even add Two-step authentication ? I am very frustrated, please advise urgently.

I'd like to import my bookmarks on a newly installed Firefox system. To do this, I need to log in and enter a verification code. This code arrives by email, but only after a few hours. So it's too late to enter it.

I was trying to sign in to siriusxm.com. A box came up that said "Please insert your security key", with a diagram that looks like a flash drive. It said the request came from FireFox Mozilla Corp.

Is this one flashdrive key that will work for everything Firefox Mozilla Corp wants to guard, or it is something required by SiriusXM? I've never heard of it, but have seen it pop up for two or three things in the last week. I don't know how to satisfy the requirement. I looked though the topics on FireFox help page, and nothing mentions it that I can find.
