Recently, Firefox updated and ask me to setup a profile, which I have not yet done since importing my data from google chrome in 2025. After skipping the setup, Firefox then deleted all my data and it has since been irecoverable. I have already checked the box last update that specifically said to not ask me again for setting up my profile. After the recent update, the question popped up again and now I cannot recover my original profile, all my browsing history, all my browser-saved data, and all my cookies and logins

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

We are a high school alumni association and Firefox is used primarily for our social media sites but yesterday it started not opening our Facebook page properly - doesn't open the whole page, won't open the comments and if you click on something it just sits and spins

After updating to Firefox 147 from 146, it seems that some areas in page rendering are becoming corrupted.

Using the attached example from https://soundcloud.com/solarstone/tracks, it is possible to see a corrupted song bar. In the other song, where the full bar chart should also appear, there is a black area, which seems like a different kind of corruption where the content is simply not being displayed.

This did not happen in version 146.

Is there anything I can do, or any information I can provide, to help debug this issue?

My selected topic "settings" actually does not really describe my tabs problem. Even though I followed instructions for entering "about:unloads" the expected webpage did not appear. All I got was the same instructions and not a page that included the table and its unload button that was said to be above it. When I select the New Page tab and right click and then select three tabs, the right-click menu only shows the option to "close three tabs." There is not an option to unload three tabs. Yikes! And when I select one tab and click on the one option to unload one tab, the selected tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. It is still there. (???) This is very frustrating! I can only close tabs. So far I can only temporarily close them. Could the problem be that I am still using Windows 10? Please advise. Thanks for reading about my problem of not being able to unload my unwanted tabs.

Since upgrading to 147 last night, ChatGPT does not work and there are issues with other websites (Amazon side bar). Numerous people reported it on reddit. Any suggestions for a fix?

Hello I had Mozilla Firefox as my default browser on my Mac laptop

I got a message this morning that Firefox could not open

I tried several times but no luck

I read through some of the online HELP sites and deleted the Firefox app and reloaded it

I also cleared the browsing history on SAFARI and CHROME although I couldn't see why that would work

Still not able to get FIREFOX to open

I've lost access to my [edited] @hotmail.com email address that is associated with this account, and I'd like to change my email address now before I'm locked it forever. This is the last computer that I have that is still logged in! It seems that to add another email address I need verification from my first email address, which I can not get. Please help! I don't know if your response to this help question will go to my Firefox account or my email, but if it goes to my lava950 email I won't receive it. Hallo Forum! Ich kann mich mit Firefox 147.0 (64-Bit) nicht bei https://auth.openai.com anmelden. Mit diesem Link kommt nur eine leere Seite. Mit https://chatgpt.com/ kommt der anmelde Buton aber der ist ohne Funktion. Ich habe chatgpt schon zu den Ausnahmen im Kaspersky hinzugefügt ohne Erfolg. Im privaten Fenster im Firefox auch kein Erfolg. Einzig im Edge funktionert alles. Hoffentlich habe ich mein Problem gut beschrieben und Ihr könnt mir bitte helfen? Grüße Telly
