I appreciate the brand new cookie management/privacy measures with the cookie jars and all, but the immediate effect has been to make it impossible to reach through ordinary clicks or browsing. I can get to it through private window browsing, but I can't reach it through clicks on emails from ResearchGate. This site is an important part of my professional life. Please work it out with them.

I am unable to use my bill pay with my bank using Firefox browser. However, I am able to use it logging on with Microsoft Edge. What has changed with Firefox recently? This has only become a problem as of today.

I have noticed that many a times (even with the latest update installed) randomly etrade website does not load. Not sure why? I have deleted the history etc and still...

I have been using the Bank of America website for many years. I have not made any changes to the settings! With the recent update of Firefox, Bill Payment on the website stopped working and I get:

Since this used to work until the last update, I think that the bug is with Firefox. Also, it works on Edge.

I have a Dell desktop that originally had XP software. I had Windows 7 Home premium downloaded several years ago and have since been using a standard Mozilla browser. The last couple days it won't download from Youtube and when I get on Facebook it prompts me to upgrade to a newer browser. Which is the Mozilla browser version compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium? Thanks in advance.

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) no longer supports Firefox. Please contact them and try to get them to support it. Otherwise I will have to use a Chrome, which I don't want to.

My first name is Joachim and my last name has three parts: "von zur Gathen". Small v and z, capital G. My entry in "saved names" is (correctly) Joachim von zur Gathen. But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? I have tried every solution I can find on the web. The McAfee Webadvisor is nowhere to be found in programs, in settings, even when I look at services. I've tried the block popup solution but I'm still getting them. Anyone have any other ideas? These things are driving me nuts and away from using Firefox because i can't get rid of them and they only show up when I use Firefox. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I want to create a list of allowed web sites in settings/cookies&data/manage exceptions, but it seems I have to enter each site MANUALLY. I would like to do this more quickly and easily by just selecting sites in the "manage cookies" list and designating them as exceptions. Or is there already some other way to do this that I haven't found? Also, after I have made exceptions for all my important sites, by whatever means, can I assume that I can press "delete all" in the "manage cookies" list and the allowed sites will not have cookies removed? What happens to exceptions if I select "delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed?" If there is no way to make exceptions other than manually, I respectively request that some convenient method be added to the program. Thanks for any response.

I had my Dell laptop crash. I reinstalled Windows 11 Pro 10.0.22000 BUILD 22000. I installed Firefox 131.0 (64-bit). Before the crash I had a Microsoft version of Firefox. Now, I CANNOT get Firefox to save my names and passwords for the sites I access. It's frustrating. What else can or should I do to get this to perform as advertised??? Thanks for any help.

I'm a web developer, writing PHP on a Windows server. When there is a server-side error, Firefox doesn't give me any useful information, it just says "There's a problem..." (see picture) Well, yes, I know, I'm the one who did it, but I need to know exactly what the problem is.

NOTE: error handling and detailed error pages are turned ON - this is not a server issue.

FF behaves this way in both normal and private windows.

Chrome/Edge/Chromium show me the full error message, Firefox does not, as you can see in the images. I prefer Firefox's developer tools to Chrome's, but this destroys my productivity as I have to stop, switch browsers, copy/paste the URL, go back...and so on. I'd rather not switch back to Chrome if I don't have to.

Is there a setting in Firefox that will let me see the server's information?

Opened Firefox browser and it defaulted to "New Firefox" browser that said I could stop other sites from tracking me through cookies which provide greater privacy. I downloaded the new Firefox browser and now any attachments or links in emails crash. Was this a bad site?? Need help fast!

Firefox has OVER 20 pages open according to the message I keep getting. I keep closing it, but every time I hit the close button, it opens 1 or more. I even tried uninstalling Firefox - all versions- but it won't uninstall. HELP!

A couple of years back there was an extension called Tab Mix that allowed users to have multiple rows of tabs to allow more to be visible at a time. A major revision to Firefox rendered it useless. Another user figured out how to allow multiple rows of tabs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVlLVySe5OI) which worked perfectly until version 131.0-64bit came out. Whatever was changed in it made the hack quit working. I really liked being able to see multiple rows of tabs because I tend to keep a lot open. I'm hoping that can be fixed with the next revision or two or that one of you has a different work-around.

Why did Norton block this since the latest update?
