Norton nor bitdefender can get rid of the malware that has done this. Is there a patch or malware fixing bit of software that can clean this infection from my computer please. Chrome has the same problem so I have had to uninstall it an forget about it.
Googling the problem just comes up with all sorts of unintelligible to me tecky stuff Im not going near.
I see on the forums this is huge problem no one seems to have easy answer for.

I WANT TO BLOCK THEM... as I'm quite sure they are scams. I just delete them, but they keep coming back How do I block them? Just got another one that says "Mozilla Firefox -- Trojan virus detected! Hi, I just installed the latest update (I think it's 136.0.2). I guess I skipped some/several versions. Suddenly my main menu isn't workin anymore (clicking it with the mouse, that is) There is some overlay which I can't find out, how to remove. Even the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons don't have any function. Luckily I can still access the menu via keyboard shortcuts. How can I remove that overlay bar ... or did I catch some malware ?
