I have an issue where Confluence stops working after a while.

The issues are as follows:

• Opening a link will work and show the page.
• After about 5 seconds, the page will turn black.
• Using the search bar does not work, no results show.
• Trying to expand items in the sidebar does not work.
• Clicking on a link in the sidebar does work, but it too will turn black after the same 5 second delay.
• You can't edit pages.

I have found two ways to temporarily fix the issue.

• Clear the cookies for Atlassian.net.
• Go into the inspector, switch to the Network tab, tick "Disable Cache" and reload the page.

Unfortunately, this only fixes it for a week or two until it comes back.

This is not specific to any one Confluence instance. Once one stops loading, all (that we have tried) stop loading.

In Firefox, the animation exhibits performance issues like stuttering, particularly in elements that rely on animateTransform and animate for movement or opacity transitions. This issue is not present in Chrome, where the animations run smoothly without any noticeable lag.

Expected Behavior: The animation should render smoothly on both Chrome and Firefox without any stuttering or lag, providing a seamless experience for users.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the provided SVG code in Firefox.

Observe the animation, particularly the elements with animate and animateTransform attributes.

Notice the stuttering or lag compared to the smooth rendering in Chrome.

Our main site http://wlo418.tripod.com/worldlibertarianorder/ and the many others with the same domain, when clicked upon, get a Bad Gateway error page in Firefox, but not with any other browsers. Do you have a server problem? Please fix this at your earliest convenience. We are not interested in comments by anyone's "community". Roy C Peterson

Hello. This is very strange and just started happening today, December 16, 2025. In Firefox, the Outlook web version, using my company email, when I reply to an email in my inbox two drafts are created. This doesn't happen when I do the same action (reply to an email) using either Chrome or Safari. To be clear, I love Firefox and have been using it for many years. I STRONGLY favor it over the other two. Help! This is just annoying. My draft folder is full of useless drafts. David

On two different sites that use fairly high security (for example, www.experian.com), I have been unable to find a logout option when I was ready to end the session. It's hard to believe that the sites don't have a logout. I have not tried other browsers with these sites, so I don't know if this problem is unique to Firefox. Is there a workaround for this situation? Am I missing something? Merely closing the browser does not end the session. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When I access a specific website the .css files hosted at http://cdn.ct-static.com/ don't load. The Network Tool console indicates that they time out. I have been told this is usually a network setup issue however if I use the MS edge browser the site loads. How do I troubleshoot this?

I have used Directv for 30 years. My password has suddenly become unusable. I can say I forgot the password and change it and it is accepted, but when I try to sign on, it still says something went wrong. I changed it a total of 2 additional times with the same results. Then I gave up and went over to Edge where it worked fine. Has anyone else had a problem line this.

New sites online (foxnews.com, newsmax.com and others) will not load comments. Had to remove shield and try several things. Still a problem. Everything before 146.0 worked. I'm sorry I did the upgrade as all this takes too much time.

When I try to sign in to a particular site FireFox gives me this warning:

"Your username or password is incorrect.

You can try again or skip the password by scanning the QR code on this page."

However, the user name and password ARE correct and I can log into the site with that username and password on other browsers like Safari.

Is there any way to fix this?

as the title says it show a wrong font for some websites or sections which is unreadable such as Google search bar, Youtube, Facebook and behaves normally on Wikipedia Google search results(except those of youtube) - the option Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above is unchecked(which makes no difference) - noto fonts is installed - firefox is on last release from the arch repo this issue isn't present in chromium based browsers or any other software in the system - bellow are screenshots which are supposed to give a clearer idea of what the issue might be - thanks

Hi there. The Netflix homepage is no longer displayed properly. Only the headlines are visible without the thumbnails (see screenshot 1). Netflix is properly displayed in screenshot 2 which was taken in an other browser. Can somebody please help me to solve this problem. Many thanks.

after the recent update I could no longer 'like' articles or comments on substack, and I couldn't post comments, either. looks as though there was a fix the next day, because I was again able to 'like' and comment...but then late that night I was suddenly back to square one. exactly the same issue. it's now been a couple of days and I still can't 'like' or comment on substack.

this same thing happened after an update many months ago, and after a week or two I just switched to opera. checked firefox again in september or october and it was working so I stayed. I'd like to keep using firefox but the substack problem is annoying. why did it work for about eight hours and then stop again? it seems as though substack is the poor step-child. hope you can get this fixed! because having to change browsers is also annoying...

The last time Firefox updated my Etsy Dashboard would no longer connect. None of the screens I need for my shop would work. Etsy support had me clear my cache and I even did a refresh of Firefox but it still would not work. Etsy's conclusion was it had to be a Firefox issue and they could not help. I had to switch to Chrome to continue working. At some point the issue went away and Etsy's dashboard was working again. Now, after the most recent update it immediately was no longer working again and I am forced to use a different browser. What could be causing this issue related to the updates?

Recently upgraded to version 146.0 on Linux (Mint, Cinnamon)

YouTube will work fine when I first start the browser. Eventually videos will stop displaying and sidebar links will not be active.

From a separate forum article I cleared all site data and restarted Firefox. That fixes the problem for about 4 or 5 videos, then you need to rinse/repeat.

The latest incident seems to have been triggered when I tried to watch a video embedded in an X (Twitter) post. That failed. And the YT failed as a whole. X was open in a separate tab container at the time.

While I have both Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin installed, both are deactivated for YouTube.

See the attached images. The video is just not displaying, though the screen is reserving space for the player.

Both/all videos I have tested do work in Chromium.

I sent message below to Bluesky support and have tried all their suggestions (all relating to Firefox), but to no avail.

MacBook Pro OS 10.14.6. Yesterday (9Dec2025) I could open Bluesky & see my profile but could not add a new post. I then did an ‘age verification’ and received confirming emails. When pressing ‘New Post’ button just went to blank page. Under ‘notifications’ at the top, was a message “''''! r.countGraphemes is not a function''''”. I am accessing using ‘Firefox 115.31.0esr (64-bit)’. I have deleted caches, re-started ‘Firefox’ and re-signed into Bluesky, but problem persists.

Could you please advise how I can overcome this problem. Thank you, best regards.

We have a web page we've created that is linked to by multiple other websites. For two of the sites where this is linked, Firefox (only) gives a "The Page Isn't Redirecting Properly" error. Using the exact same URL to link from other sites works fine in all browsers. Once you get the error, if you click in the URL and hit enter, the page will load fine. Any ideas? When searching that error, all the ideas I find tend to focus on the individual user's system, but this is happening for all users.

when I click in Instagram in the notifications on a comment, I get redirected to to the comment section, but not to that certain comment, so I would have to scroll a lot.

Please help with that.
