Yahoo Mail: No Internet Connection

On nearly a daily basis, at some point my Yahoo mail tab indicates a lost internet connection when I have no internet connection issues with any other site... including Yahoo. At first I could simply close the yahoo mail tab and reload it, but now I have to log completely out of my computer to restart it. If I simply try to open mail again, the tab simply continually searches for the site (at this point it has been trying to open the site for about 15 min). In searching for a fix, I found numerous other people have had the same issue (seems to go back as far as 2023, but in only started for me since upgrading to a new laptop). It seems to be only a Mozilla Firefox issue - but since Mozilla is my preferred browser I'd like to see if there is a fix before moving to another browser. Thanks for any guidance anyone can provide.

Hey there! I'll provide you a list of things to try since I can't be 100% sure where exactly the problem comes into existence.

- In your settings clear all data related to yahoo, restart the Firefox browser. Why? So that scripts that have been stored and might be causing it get deleted and replaced with new ones which hopefully do the trick.

Didn't work? Try: - Close Firefox completely. Start Firefox in safe mode by holding down "Shift" while clicking to start it as you would usually do. Why? If it works smoothly we know that it's caused by Firefox's hardware acceleration or an extension, all of which are disabled in safe mode.

Didn't work? Try: - Update Firefox to the newest version. Go to Firefox menu > Help > About Firefox. The latest version just came out, it's number 145.0

Didn't work? Workaround? - Download the official Yahoo Mail App from the Microsoft Store to avoid browsers completely.

Did that help?
