But if you are asking, can Thunderbird itself run in a Firefox tab, the answer is no.

Hi Bill, while you can't run Thunderbird inside of Firefox, you usually can access your mail inside of Firefox by going to your email service provider's website and signing in there. Mail you moved to local folders in Thunderbird won't be on the server any more, but you should be able work with messages you haven't removed from the server.
