I cannot login into a website because they complain that I have an old version of PHP. Is that already included in Firefox? I am using Firefox Vers. 143.0.4 on a MacBook Air with MacOS Big Sur, Vers. 11.7.10 Shall I go to the PHP website and download PHP?

I installed chatgpt, but I've found it more of a nuisance than a help. I've tried on-line to find out how to remove it but none of the suggestions seemed to work. I'm using the latest version of firefox on a Macbook Pro. Any ideas welcome. Charlie

I wish to export, and not copy, a digital certificate so that I can import it to Keychain on my Mac. The only option in Firefox Browser on Mac is to copy, which means it only opens as a TextEdit and cannot be imported.

Any recommendations?

i have been using Tor.browser as my default web browser on Macbook for months. Firefox is my 2nd, but two days ago, i was kicked out of Tor, cannot download/use it anymore and the reasons given are as follows:

"Tor.browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information." Ignore Report Reopen (options)

when i have deleted and tried to re-install tor browser, I get the notification that

"Tor Browser quit unexpectedly". No matter what I do

 (I have since done both, obviously & have tried many other things, including trying to Time Travel, which I am not 100% sure how to yet).  the Report states Firefox is responsible for blocking Tor.  how did this happen and suggestions on how to fix.  I have to access Tor to find some pertinent files etc. I have stored there.  thanks

I just updated my iMac from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought Firefox would provide an update to convert the esr version to the standard Firefox browser since I am no longer using Mojave, but the next update is 115.15.0esr. Is that correct? My understanding is that the esr updates are just for computers using older operating systems through Mojave. I did not update to 115.15.0esr since I am not sure if that is the right version for Catalina. Any information and assistance you can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

why and or how can i update Firefox. i am running Firefox 126. every time i open the browser the auto update opens and fails to download. i tried loading it through Safari, also failed. anyone have a clear and simple solution? the forum seems to have a lot of complicated work a rounds. any help would be appreciated

Hello, I just got a new macbook air because fluid was spilled on the previous one. The older laptop works but the display is not functioning. So I can't use the migration assistant, which requires responding to screen prompts, which in this case are not visible to me. I also just updated my password. Is there a way to recover this data?

I have tried to download the latest update (v129.0.2). The download stops at about 98kb. This happened on the last update (v129.0.1) as well and it took me countless attempts to get it to work.

I know there are work-arounds but why should I have to **** around with my machine just to get an update?

Firefox has been an excellent browser but something has happened. I tried to access the help and, after several minutes of a blank page, I got the attached. Other legitimate pages are not loading. Sorely tempted to revert to Safari but i have donated this year and still prefer Firefox.

I am running macOS 10.15.7 and Firefox won't upgrade past ESR v. 115 to the "regular" version 127.

Alternately, downloading the Firefox v. 127 installer and running won't update ESR v. 115 nor will it import bookmarks or data from the previous version ESR 115. Firefox v. 127 installs and starts as if I am a new user without any update or import option so that all previous settings, passwords, and data from ESR v. 115 are lost.

Is there a work-around for the upgrade to keep continuity, settings, bookmarks, and data when migrating to v. 127? Thanks!

I upgraded from 126.0.1 to 127 today. Upon update, all my windows are gone. The only way I could access them is to revert to an older profile backup and reinstall 126.0.1.

I tried exporting my session with Tab Session Manager in 126.0.1 and reopen them in 127, but that only restores the last tab of each window (oddly). The json clearly lists 3 windows each with multiple tabs. I tried copying the sessionstore-backups folder, but no dice.

I have all my passwords stored on Firefox on my macbook pro. When I follow the instructions to sync my passwords on the Firefox app on my phone, it keeps rejecting my primary password, saying it is incorrect. I have deleted the app and re-installed it on my phone, but it still does not work. Why will my account not open on my iphone app? Thank you!

This is my Mac Monterey. My Windows 10 is in Safe Mode With Networking. The last update will not download. That version is 125.0.3. What's available under Windows updates does not download either. Now I am running my antivirus on my Windows to see if it runs clean. I do not know why I cannot apply these updates.
