What I want to do is to is export just the headers of emails on IMAP folders with an Excel VBA macro so that I can write filters to import into Thunderbird for deletion of old new letters and things of that nature, keeping only the important emails.
Knowing the message filter file format would also be nice considering that I can then just mass edit the filters without needing to recreate them each pass.

I have my email set to not allow emails from any addresses that aren't in my book. If I follow their 'unsubscribe' link, I just get more of them. I have 4 email account. One account will not allow me to delete or send to junk box. When I press delete nothing happens. The emails (at least 30) that came in are marked junk too. The other 3 account work fine. I have had these 4 account for years and never had a problem. I have done a complete scan with Norton and nothing came up. Thank You in advance
When I get spam emails I want an easy way to be able to report it to all appropriate organizations that will be able to help stop it.

Hello, I'm using the latest version of Thunderbird on Windows 11 and manage three email addresses with it. I've noticed that two spam folders have suddenly been created for each email address, but only one folder is being used. How can I delete the unused spam folders?
Email addresses set up as IMAP
Two email addresses are with Seuresmtp.t-online.de One email address is with Web.de Freemail-smtp.de
I would like to know how I can block a notorious seller who sends me dozens of emails in a single day.

I can access my e-mail but I can not check select an e-mail for deletion. I can pull up an e-mail read but can not delete it. There is no way to delete my spam

Migrated from comcast(xfinity)to yahoo which was a pain. That said, I moved the "Bulk "folder to the trash thinking Thunderbird's Junk folder would be what I needed. Apparently not, and now I cannot get the Bulk folder out of the trash and back where it belongs. Help??

Current behavior:
My installation does not seem to automatically execute spam filtering for unified folders or saved searches. As soon as I manually select one of the included folders within - e.g. an individual mail acccount's inbox - the algorithm triggers and everything works as expected, but only for the one folder I clicked. This leaves me with having to click through all my mail accounts manually to make use of the adaptive junk mail controls function.
Expected behavior:
Selecting a unified folder triggers junk mail controls for all the included folders and moves messages to the respective junk folders automatically.
