Hello, about 3 - 4 weeks ago I used my Yubikey to login to a secure site via Firefox. Yesterday I again tried to login to the same site using my Yubikey and failed. An error messaged appears as per the screen shot. I then tried another two browsers (Edge, Vivaldi) and succeeded in using both browsers to login using my Yubikey. I also was able to login to (using my Yubikey) the same site via Firefox on my laptop without issue. My two firefox apps are not linked in any way. Has anyone else had this issue and know of a way to fix the problem?
I manged to find and lose a reddit post that discussed the same problem. In the end the reddit author said it was a windows issue and fixed via the settings app in windows. I have tired this but this doesn't appear to work. Regardless I am also reaching out to the Windows community to see if they can help.
Thanks all.

When Using fire fox it loads sites very slow if at all, and does not use correct passwords for the site selected. I use Norton Security and am operating on windows 11. When using Microsoft edge for the same it works fine. I've had firefox for years and have always updated it, but within the last week or so it seems to be getting worse and worse. Any Suggestions?

Greetings,
I'm using & viewing the most updated Firefox browser on a Windows 10 Pro (64 bit), desktop, 24" monitor screen.
With the current updates, the list of bookmarks in my Bookmarks Bar has become very small, skinny & overly spaced, hampering readability.
Though I have learned how to enlarge the bookmarks font size, using the "about:config" & updating the 'layout.css.devPixelsPerPx' attribute, the font still remains very skinny & overly spaced.
Is there an attribute that I can change to alter the Font Style (for example to "Semi-bold") & Spacing of the bookmarks list? If so, please be kind enough to describe the process & I'll give it a go.
If a Firefox Development Team member happens to be reading this post, I'd like to put in a request to add some Bookmarks Bar "FONT EDITING" tools accessible via the browser SETTINGS dialogue, to accommodate readability on ALL the various OS & computer form factors that have proliferated these days.
Thank you, Bruce
There is a huge gap between the bookmarks bar & the Firefox logo on the Home screen in the 151.0.3 version (Current) after update.

I asked ChatGPT why images were missing and this is what it said. I'm not sure whether this is a general issue with reader view on all browsers, or just Firefox. I'm using the latest version on Windows 10.
This was my question to Chatgpt:
I have a problem with a Hubpages article when I enter reader view—not all the images are shown. I'm migrating articles to my Kilcullen science blog, but now I'm worried that if I'm transcribing from reader view, I may be missing images. Hubpages lazy loads, however I'm scrolling all the way through articles before saving to make sure all images load, but in one case when there were three consecutive images, only the last image appeared in reader view.
This was its reply: That is a real risk. Reader View is designed to extract the main content of a page, not to preserve it exactly. If HubPages is using lazy loading, galleries, image containers, or JavaScript-based image insertion, Reader View may simply omit some images even if they have loaded in the normal page.
The fact that three consecutive images became only one image in Reader View is a warning sign that Firefox's Reader View parser decided the first two weren't part of the article content or failed to recognise them.
A few things you can do:
Don't rely solely on Reader View Compare the Reader View version against the normal page. Pay particular attention to image-heavy articles. Use "Save Page As" instead After scrolling to the bottom and allowing everything to load, save the page as "Web Page, Complete". This saves the HTML and associated images locally. You can then inspect the saved page if you're unsure whether an image was missed. Check the page source Search the HTML for

Firefox opens on my second monitor despite my confirming my primary monitor as 1 in Windows 11 I have tried on many occasions to "lock" Firefox onto monitor 1 via settings in Win 11 and Firefox, but it still opens probably 3 times out of 5 on the 2nd monitor. My version is 151.0.3

Shopping with an online vendor I have never contacted before, using fully updated Firefox on Win 11 Pro and ESET, the website checkout offered a "Buy with SHOP [visa] ####" blue button. '####' is the last four digits of a credit card of mine.
I did not realize until later "Buy with SHOP [visa] ####" meant "Shopify" would own the transaction. I have never established any online "Wallet" and would never do that. I had never heard of "Shopify." I did not know what it is. Now I do, and I am terrified. I have the complete source code from the page. If that would help a diagnosis, let me know. It is clear that Shopify populates the form from information it already has; how they write the HTML is less important than how they got this personal information in the first place.
Is there a setting in Firefox that allows this? If so, how can I disable it? IF Mozilla has distributed an "update" that defaults a wallet to "ON". please tell me. Tell me in simple terms how to shut all this garbage off so it stays off.
My credit card company, Chase, has Excellent Security and no charge from Shopify will be paid, ever. But what other data does Shopify have and how did they get it?
Thank you for your help. Very much!

I don't know how or why but apparently Mozilla VPN has been installed on my computer. I don't think I ever requested it as I have Express VPN and I never subscribed to it. I've attached a screenshot and I don't know what else this could mean (note: I am technologically challenged). I didn't have my Express VPN turned on at the time I took this picture.

I have DNS over https disabled already and have troubleshooted various other settings.
Is the VPN YOUR APP that has to be applied because your instructions of where it is located is-shows no VPN icon.
Thank you.

I would have attached one of the labels so you can see for yourself but you only accept images.
Ask me and I will send you one.

I have logged into TinyURL.com MANY times using Firefox. Now, I get a Cloudflare Validation Error when trying to do so (see attached screenshot/snip).
This was done in Troubleshooting mode, but is the same in standard mode, though I have no extensions enabled. I've tried turning Protection Tracking off; no luck. - We use ZoneAlarm, but the Web Secure functions are all disabled. - I have the same issue on 2 PC's, one Windows 10 and the other Windows 11, 64-bit. - I'm on FF release 150.0.2 - 64-bit, and both Windows installs are fully updated and kept that way. - I've reached out to TinyURL in hopes of resolving the issue. They suggested many of the above steps but not resolved this issue. - HOWEVER, I've found that login via Google Chrome IS seamless - no issues.
What is it with Firefox that it's having issues with the Cloudflare "Human" check? I've checked the Cloudflare site; all conditions are good, and this very setup passed the "Turnstile" check.
FF is my #1 preferred browser, so please look into this. I see that others have posted similar issues over multiple years here (but a search of support articles didn't find one . . .)
Thanks,
firefox not opening any web pages while MS Edge does. I have downloaded firefox many times and changed password. Can you help. Using laptop with windows 11.

Out of nowhere, the Nightly browser starts with Windows & a new profile. This forces me to go to Settings to uncheck the setting for Nightly to start when I start Windows.
First, the setting "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up" should never, ever be checked by default.
Second, this has happened on both my Win11 computers with Nightly. What is concerning is that somehow a Nightly update out of the blue created a brand new profile--I have a specific profile I use for my Nightly installs--with the start with Windows startup setting checked. This should not happen even with an alpha app like Nightly. The update process should only be using the profile running when the update process takes place.
This forces me to run the Firefox Profile Manager to delete the profile that was created out of the blue.
Honestly, if this is not addressed, I will have to stop using Firefox, Beta & Nightly. I have Firefox since it first was pre-version 1.0, but I refuse to use an app that thinks it is acceptable to make default a setting like Start with Windows startup.
