For some reason, about a week ago, Firefox started lagging BADLY when saving any file. It will take like 20 seconds to load the "save as" popup and then, once saved and it closes, takes another 5 seconds to regain control and not make the error sound when I click.

Firefox loads quickly on every other aspect. And I have a beast of a laptop. It has an Intel Core i9 13th Gen 13900HX, 64GB of DDR5/6 RAM and a Nvidia RTX 4090 Laptop graphics chip. It also has Windows 11 Home. So it SHOULDN'T be this laggy. And I refreshed Firefox multiple times and even reinstalled it. NOTHING!

And, while I'm personally not complaining about the icons in the bar looking like they're from Windows 7 or something, I wonder if it's connected? Regardless, I NEED this fixed as it's damn near unusable for me. I'm in college for video game development, so things like this are the last thing I want to deal with...

I recently updated to v130. I'm having the same problem that so many others have, "Firefox already running, close Firefox". After updating to v130 I had to go to Task Manager and delete 19 Firefox running. It's only been a few days ago and I checked Task Manager today and deleted another 13. After updating to v130 many of my add-ons are showing up in the Menu Bar. I have used Add-ons Manager to drag and drop, but it doesn't work. I have specific bookmarks that should be in the "Bookmarks" section" but they are also showing up in the Menu Bar. I had to re-select my screen choice because it had disappeared. I use DuckDuckGo for my search engine and in the past I was able to choose a separate search bar, but that too has disappeared and I cannot seem to fix it in settings. So many problems after updates, but this one seems very bad. I use Windows 10 on my desktop PC

Hi there - I cannot connect to internet wifi (?) and it has the symbol with the exclamation mark. I am currently connecting to my mobile to use the internet. It's kind of weird? this message will probably go through - even stranger!!! so I can bring up the firefosx page but then not connect to a regular website. pleeeeeeeease help??? thank you!

When I try to access the site rrf.rsm.govt.nz I get the error message "Azure Front Door WAF Policy - BLOCKED ACCESS. This is a sample message send from the Front Door WAF Policy linked to the called Frontend EndPoint. Test! " The site is the New Zealand government register of licensed radio transmitters.

I have previously accessed the site using Firefox with no problems. I can still access the site using Edge and Chrome (and Firefox on iOS).

Being an Amazon associate I need to be able to use the SiteStripe by Amazon on their website to get a short link to a product I want to promote and earn commissions from. Currently Microsoft Edge and Opera work fine with this. Firefox on the other hand does not show the link when prompted. It shows an empty field where the link is generated by Amazon on their SiteStripe..

I have one login saved to Firefox. Firefox, for some unfathomable reason, will sometimes delete that login from its records entirely and I'll have to set up a new entry. This has happened a total of six times over the last three months/

FB crashes tab every time I open it in Firefox, and my 1Password has dissapeared. I can get in to FB on my iPad and iPhone firefox, and on my desktop in Google Chrome (ick). What happened?

I am was looking for jobs and ran across a website called Lensa.com. Well i setup an account and I wish i didn't.

I don't think the site is legit. I have deleted my account, but I keep getting messages from them, and they are coming directly through firefox. I have added a picture below.

I don't see any browser extensions that would be doing this. How are they able to do this?

There is nothing in my ubuntu startup.

I am very concerned about this.

I am running ubuntu 24.04 with all updates.

Hello, I'm having some problems with multiple websites at the moment on log in, when i put my personal information and click on the logging button, nothing happens, and i have tried with another browse (chrome), the next action is show a captcha to permit the log in, that can't be shown on Firefox.

Some sites are Coursera, this is where i recognized this problem, the other is Good Smile Company (the US version).

Can anybody know how to solve this? i want to stay on Firefox for all my internet navigation.

I only have a few tabs open at any one time, usually only one or two. I only have adblock plus and bitwarden as extensions. But when I open firefox desktop, even before I've navigated to any page, it is using a few hundred MB to almost a GB of memory.

Although the tab for "Autofill Payment Methods" is checked within the Privacy and Security section in settings, when I click on one of my various saved credit cards, autofill doesn't seem to happen anymore when I'm trying to make a payment. That applies to all of my saved credit cards.

Why, and what can I do about it?

when trying to log into Arizona state school, it uses duo authentication after typing in password and login it starts to try to authenticate then says 403 forbidden. but works fine on my laptop but it will not work on my desktop Ive looked through the forum done all the clear catch and enable site but still not having luck normally id continue on my laptop but i need multiple screens for the current class I'm doing and my laptop doesn't suffice.

I have recently changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and my computer is running extremely slow. It takes about a minute and sometimes longer to switch from one thing to another such as face book to messenger or my inbox. It almost seems as slow as a dial up connection would be . What seems to be the problem? I don't even know if you are the people I should be writing too, but maybe you have a suggestion?

All of a sudden, my extensions icons, site icons and some images in every page are very very dark or pitch black. I haven't change anything in themes other than changing the theme of the browser after installing it.

In the attached images, you can see how the Mozilla site icon is rendered by Firefox Stable, Firefox Nightly in Recovery Mode without my account being signed in and Google Chrome. The other screenshot is the extension toolbar with extension icons being rendered all black instead of their true color.

I have always been able to save my bookmarks to a folder called "Other Bookmarks". I can't remember if I created it, or it was there. Until this last update (130.0), this folder was my default folder, and all the bookmarks were saved there automatically. Now, for some reason, all of my bookmarks are being saved to the Bookmarks Toolbar, which I don't want to happen. I've tried setting the default back to the "Other Bookmarks", but for some reason, nothing works. I've tried 3 different ways of doing it. This only started to happen after FF automatically updated. Any help would be appreciated.

Ever since the last two updates my saved cookies keep disappearing. It's a pain since I have to log in everywhere when it was automatic before.

I'm on an imac desktop computer with the latest firefox browser.

System is Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. Firefox 130.0 is the browser. When printing PDF forms from a website, the printer dialog shows the paper size as US Letter, but it prints as a tiny version of the document.

When I dig deeper into the printer dialog, the page setup is listed as na_letter. When I change it to US Letter, the document will print correctly, but it reverts to na_letter for subsequent print jobs.

The printer is a Brother inkjet, MFC-J985DW. This problem only started recently and the only known changes have been automatic Firefox updates. Any suggestions for a fix?
