All of the settings I had setup for my "new tab" page have disappeared, having been reset to some default Firefox page. How can I recover these shortcuts without having to recreate everything from scratch? Even my background has been updated without my consent.

I am using Firefox Browser 145.0 and CCleaner Free version 7.1.1042.0. Either CCleaner wiped out the 4 rows of saved shortcuts, or, I have a unwanted Checked or unchecked Firefox setting. The home Firefox page is black, with no tiles showing, no way to add tiles as far as I can tell

One of the things I like most about Firefox is the home page with 'tiles' for my most used websites. Since the last upgrade some of my tiles have the website logos but most do not. Is there a way I can fix this?

Hi! So I just installed firefox and I got onto annoying issue. I like using shortcuts on my homepage, but I started to get some shortcuts added automatically and they bother me a lot. I tried removing them or deleting from history, but as soon as I click the button, one shortcuts gets removed and immediately gets swityched with another one automatically. So I'm stuck in the infinite loop of removing shortcuts and my manually added ones just get lost in all this mess.

My browser has been hacked by searchingswift.com, I've read all the article's I can find on getting rid of it with no luck. I've completely uninstalled everything including the mistake that brought it in (Coverseen miss pick file), but no luck.

Here's what I get after a complete reinstall and deleting any Firefox stuff I can find.

I'm getting ready to do a backup from a month ago, but I'm not sure if this will come back in with my Firefox sign in.

Windows 11 and New Firefox

I've unchecked all three boxes, but the two sub-boxes stay checked and the sponsored stories and links continue to appear even though I unchecked the boxes. See attached image. How do I disable? Why can't I uncheck these boxes? I was actually just trying to disable it for a few, not all of my computers, but, now that it's being forced on me, I'm a bit unhappy with Firefox. I've supported, promoted, and used them for years but now they seem to be following the same path of other prying browsers. :(

On my home page there used to a dozen or so boxes with the web sites I most frequently use that I could click on. It would open a new tab and go to that site. They had the logo of the site. They aren't there anymore. Can I get them back? If so, how?

hello - since yesterday, the links on the startpage don't show anymore, even though they were perfectly fine the day before yesterday, when I shut down the laptop.

i can't find where I could change anything, since in the settings, the 4 lines are still activated, nothing has changed except they're suddenly not showing anymore.... ?

what can I do???

I did try to search through the articles, didn't see anything that could help me.

I would even save them and open a new profile if there's no way to fix it, if only I could find where those links on the startpage are stored...

I use Firefox and I like Firefox and I appreciate what you do there & at Mozilla. But one thing really irks me!

On the homepage, the icons for the various sites I frequently visit are displayed. They change from time to time, depending on how often I sign into my favorite sites.

But I get the sense this system is being manipulated in a way that doesn't serve the interest of your customers/users. Besides my email account, there is one site I go to more often than any other: the Genealogy website "Myheritage.com." Yes as often as I visit this website, its icon is never added to the display of my frequently used sites.

For some years I frequented the site Ancestry.com. But I stopped using them because Myheritage is better for my purposes (exploring Eastern Europe genealogy). Ancestry was removed from my most frequent list, but Myheritage has never been added.

How do I go about adding a section on the home page like "Genealogy" with various articles and events on it. Or even say, "Hobbies" where I can find latest articles or apps on various hobbies I enjoy?

Recently, when I open a new tab in Firefox (Windows) I started getting a drop-down box for Google instead of shield, lock, and sliders followed by the query/address bar. See attachment. I have no way to drag and drop this search query address. If I follow this by clicking on the search icon in the Google query field below, I get the normal Firefox address bar with the lock icon and the ability to save the query address by dragging and dropping the lock icon. How can I get back to the normal Firefox browsing address bar.

Prior ti the most recent update, an initial tab always connected to a frequently accessed page, which in my case is a news site. The update has now lost that behavior. Is there a flag that I can set that will restore that behavior? Also I have Firefox as a startup app but it has again working. I have it as a startup app in Win 10 and is settings, is there anywhere else that i could be flagging as a startup app?

Dzień dobry. Kiedy otwieram nową kartę mam napis "Ostatnia aktywność" i cztery rzędy w których powinny zjawiać się ikonki ostatnio przeze mnie przeglądanych stron. Tak było do czasu, kiedy użyłam CCleaner-a7 (nowej wersji) - nic mi się tam już nie wyświetla. Proszę o pomoc.

Really annoying with latest update there is no add short cut box on the home page anymore. I use this lots to save time now I have to go into browser history and find the link. All there is now is Recent activity and suggested sights that are picked for me. I don't want this on my browser!!

Om my prior system, when I opened a new tab, Firefox would show me the most frequently used sites. I am now on a Windows 11 machine and want that same feature. It used to show 3 rows of 6 sites that I could click on which saves me looking at my Bookmarks
