You appear to have an up to date Firefox.
This is probably malware. Please let us know the links this is using. And the game sites you see this on. No doubt the file is called firefox-patch.exe That is not from Mozilla. We do not issue patches as .exe files.
Does the update look like this ?

If you are able to please SAVE the file and I will give instructions on where to send it. Mozilla staff would like to pass this on yo our anti virus partners. TAKE CARE please do not run or open the file. It is some form of malware and may be harmful if opened.

Sorry to hear that the updater is not working. You can download the full installer and run that to complete the update. That is available here:
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
You'll need to scroll down to your preferred language. Then, for maximum plugin compatibility, you would choose the "Windows" version rather than the "Windows (64-bit)" version. (The Adobe Acrobat, Unity, and VLC plugins do not work in the 64-bit version.)
Beware, however, of sites displaying a splashy orange tab about a Firefox patch. That is a malware distribution ploy that many users have encountered in recent days. It may be delivered from an ad in your game, and must be avoided. If you think you ran it, please see the following article for tips on free malware cleaners to check your system: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
Regarding Flash crashing, have you had an opportunity to try the steps in this article: Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again?

Yes, it looks exactly like that. Thank you for the responses. I did a malware sweep. Hope that helps. Thanks again
Glad the replies helped. I know you did a malware scan, but it would be best to follow the full instructions linked in jschers post that is
Please use all the tools listed.
As I said earlier if you (or anyone else reading this thread) can identify the links and sites used, or save (NOT run or open) the file please post to let us know. You may be able to help us prevent this threat by ensuring Anti Virus companies register it as malware.
