The bookmarks I saved last are not visible now. What do I do

I had bookmarked some websites and was signed in to Mozilla. I was hoping that Mozilla would save that and I could open Firefox and another computer and find those bookmarks. I cant seem to find them now. I got a new computer, is that the issue? I thought my bookmarks were synced to my account with Firefox though. Any help would be much appreciated.
