I updated to 155.0.1 via the update modal yesterday, on MacOS Tahoe, and it didn't restart as normal. The main message pane was blank with "No Message Found" (screenshot attached).

I tried installing a fresh 155.0 over, that did not work; but, a restore of the prior app from my Time Machine did work -- that is, the application not the user profile data.

I just thought this was strange; never ran into it.

If there is an issue and I can help test it usefully, I happy to do so (I have backups! LOL).

I'm trying to reduce size of TB Profile folder (2.45GB) I observe that my TB Profile, Imap.Mail folder contains two folders for Yahoo.com, one of which I suspect is unnecessary.

- imap.mail.yahoo.com 27 MB

- imap.mail.yahoo-1.com 2.29 GB. This folder has the more recent "Date Modified" date.

Please see screenshot. No problems with TB operations.

Can one of these be deleted? Which one? How? (i.e., any re-naming involved?)

Firefox created a folder "Old Firefox data" on my desktop which is impossible to delete. I am getting an error "Access denied" even when trying to delete it as administrator. How can I delete this folder?

Frustrated that told to do this do that, and more of stuff I don't understand. Change this, Change what. No matter what how many times i change this or that nothing helps. i have a big headache, and it isn't right to put so much stupid crap that I dpn't understand at all. Nothing is simple; it's not simple. I already paid a $20.00 for a donation so I can use Thunderbird. I can't even use the freaken Thunderbird. I can't figure out what the heck who ever expects me to do this, do that, than more of the same. All I want, is to be able to use Thunderbird, transfer all my emails to Thunderbird. Use the Thunderbird without alot of crazy ass questions, that I have no answers. If this is diffcult to read imagine how I feel. It should be so difficult to use anything, but it sure is. Even writing this, what do I gain, nothing, go away, lose the money I donated for Thunderbird. I would really really appreciate any help to help me sit up this thunderbird email. I really would. Help, dispirited what can I saw. Once this note or what ever is send. It my all be in vein. Tom You can't email, because Firefox screwed that up. Thanks for having me . I am struggling with backing up my TB on my laptop. When i set it up i was told that the way i set it up it would need backing up regularly as it is based on my computer hard drive. I followed a youtube guide to back up but i keep getting this message: "this action cannot be completed because the file is open in thunderbird- close file and try again parent.lock "

and cannot get passed it.

Any guidance would be gratefully received. ( or another method of backing up that a simple person could follow) TIA Cheers

hi i'm at my whits end trying to get my data across from windows mail. I paid someone to sort this, and he said it will continue to say the connection is lost while getting data across from windows mail. its been a week now. i cant get it to work properly. none of my addresses are there, mail continues to not arrive at my PC (when I've got it on my phone), it just keeps saying loading message 1 of 3457. but never gets to the total. the number has remained the same for many days now so obviously its loaded all the emails, but it still appears stuck. also the preview window seems to not work (has worked once or twice). frustrated...

dont want to buy stupid microsoft products but i just cant work this way?

Dear reader,

I wanted to completely removed Firefox because i had some issues. Instead om removing I probably refreshed FF.

Can somebody help with?

1. How to remove old FF data which is placed on my desktop and blocked for removal by admin rights. 2. How to completely remove FF without leaving any data (profiles, extensions)

I have tried to find this answers in the help sections but I was not able to find the solution for my situation.

I, and with many others, have the following problem: If I want to create a gmail account in Thunderbird via IMAP, I will arrive at the following screen:

see word doc. 

Whatever I click or do not react in test. We have tried several gmail acoount. All account work via login on the site. Everything that is mentioned on the internet does not work. The security through the site has also been reduced. All virus scanners are disabled, Java updated or reinstalled. And again: many more people have this problem, but no one has received a solution. What else can we (I) do?

Lots of problems migrating from Windows Live Mail. I've imported my contacts, but they are scrambled. The columns contain the wrong information. Is there any way to unscramble them?? Your "Help" often tells me to click on something that does not appear on my computer. Very frustrating to go through help procedures that lead to a blank wall.

When I started up Windows 11 on my new laptop, I had to connect to the web via Edge to be able to install Firefox. I foolishly went on to install Firefox via Microsoft Store. I have now installed Firefox from the Mozilla website via the Microsoft Store version, but I cannot uninstall the Microsoft Store version. I don't have access to the folder where it is installed even though I log on as an administrator.
