Dear all,

for two days (as of march 21) any search request is denied, no results are despayed. Instead a message window pops up: "Error: Routing error", the requested website (here: duckduckgo.com) would send the request into an endless loop. This problem only occurs using the mac-version of FF 148.02. The moblile version runs as normal, and another browser, Safari, works as he should.

I tested all my add-ins (switching off and on), private mode produces the same result. So, could you give a hint, is it (my) single, private issue?

After recent update, I can not browse any addons. The site https://addons.mozilla.org does not open, shows the connection timed out. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox deleteting all firefox related files. The problem still persists. Other than this all the using browsing I do are all working fine. Just this extensions I cannot browse. When I click the extension icon by default it shows some extensions, I can Install them. The problem is I can not browse them. Even the recomendation tab is also empty.

PS: I am using firefox on manjaro linux.

This browser is not letting me connect with my pension website. It allows me to sign in, but the pages with my account are not showing up. How do I get it to recognize the website as safe?

Hello, I am trying to create and use my account, but I keep getting the message "Using Proxy/VPN is forbidden." I am not using any VPN or proxy. I have already checked my computer and internet connection, but the issue still remains. Please review my account and help me resolve this problem. Thank yoیہ

Up until today (3/26) , accessing CompuServe (AOL) mail was not an issue. Now , getting to the site is OK , but when it attempts to access the mail , I get:

What changed overnight? After getting the message , if I click on Mail , it works just fine. There is also a similar message when closing the page , but not every time.

Any clues?

Just recently I am no longer able to login to the discover.com site in private mode. It still works in regular mode. I'm using this on a desktop, not the discover app. I spoke to their tech support and tried to do a login while on the phone. They told me nothing was coming through on their end. So, what changed and how can I fix it please?

I am so tired of this. I am continuously being blocked from webpages because Firefox says I am not able to access them. First it was Macy's website and now it is my bank website. I have just gotten a new computer this week, but it was occurring on my previous one. I am 71 years old and am not a computer whiz on these situations. I was able to access my bank account this morning but not now. Total bullcrap.I really liked Firefox, but if it continues I will switch to something else. I just received this error code. As of about last Thursday, I have been unable to access my Isomedia.com SpamTitan01 account. I usually have a trove of spam messages, which I look at and delete, except for the one or two that are real emails. For the last 5 days My Titan vault is empty, though it is trying to retrieve data. My address is [redacted] @pioneernet.net Could it be that a Firefox update is preventing me from access?

I was having an odd issue the other day, that I now solved by comparing the settings on a working Firefox profile with mine.

For some reason, on one of my multiple Firefox profiles a list of web apps wasn't working. Among them were Discord, Miro Board, and Google Pay. I was suspecting that they all had the same issue, but didn't know what it was at that time.

The security settings were the obvious suspect (Ad-blockers, DNS, HTTPS enforcement etc.) because clearly something was being blocked, however nothing helped. The solution was in the Network settings. (See screenshot) I was using Manual proxy settings from the time I messed with I2P networks (or something similar).

I am not sure why having a proxy to localhost (127.0.0.1) on HTTP would somehow cause very specific major apps to stop working, while others keep working fine, but it happened to me anyway.

For anyone in a similar situation, with those particular apps not working, check your proxy settings.

The last 2 days i have had problems signing into my Aliexpress account. The site has told me it is temporarily unavailable, then that the server is taking too long and now that parental controls have been used.

I am 68. I don't need or use my computer for sites that require parental control.

does Firefox allow for me to block a specific URL ex (winred.com) a simple line edit to block sites
