When I go to the firefox website and tap on the microphone to ask a question the Google speech services comes up and I cannot adjust the loud volume on your settings or the phone Google settings. I have a Samsung Galaxy A25 5g phone and on Android 16. I have tried finelock sound assistant and that does not help. Is there an extension that Firefox has that I can use to adjust the volume when tapping on the microphone on Firefox?

I also have a Lenovo Tab M9 9" HD Tablet that has the Android 13 version on it and have no problem at all adjusting the microphone volume on that through the tablet setting.

How do I use tampermonkey for Torn? I have the tampermonkey file but I get a message saying I don't have an app that enables me to use tampermonkey.

Hello, I have the F-Secure password manager on my PC. Synchronization with my smartphone is also working fine. But it doesn't work in Firefox Android. I can't set up an extension for F-Secure. Thank you very much for your help, Peter

It's possible that I misread the documentation, but I looked for a response to this question for 20 minutes, and I couldn't find a 100% clear answer about my question when it comes to Firefox for Android.

Say I install an extension on Firefox for Android, that requires permission just for a specific website (e.g. let's say, for example, it's an add-on for blocking automated translations on youtube, with permission scope restricted to youtube only). Later, the extension automatically updates itself (as apparently, it's not possible to disable automated updates for extensions on Firefox for Android). The update now includes a larger permission scope, for example permissions for some other websites, or even the permission to "Access your data for all websites".

My questions are:

Is this scenario possible? If so, will I be notified of the changes in permission scope? Would I be able to block the update in this case?

I downloaded a couple extensions to my Account, But how do I Activate them and use then and turn them on and where to go to see that there on and currently working? I'm using an Android Phone

I am using and like NordPass Password Manager and Digital Vault Extension on my Firefox for Windows 11, but it does not seem to be available for the Android version of Firefox that I have on my smartphone. Is there any plan to make that Extension available for Android Firefox?

All right, so quickly, but from the beginning. I wanted to check if Mozilla is really as good as everyone says. I installed it on my phone. I'm mainly interested in browsing YouTube. I'll ignore the fact that all adverts and information sharing are enabled by default. How do I disable the display of short videos and posts that only appear on Mozilla and that I'm seeing for the first time? Is there such an option? Brave does not display posts on YouTube and there is an option to block the display of many elements on YouTube. No extensions need to be installed to block advertisements. So does Mozilla have any improvements over its competitors?

I'm using Fennec Firefox on mobile and I'm having this problem where my the page refreshes on the slightest touch. I'd like to turn this gesture off all together. I have done some research and found this code: document.addEventListener('touchstart', function(event) {

I don't know anything about java or python, so if someone could give me a hint or point me in the right direction that would be helpful. How to install ublock origin for android phone on Firefox. Firefox needs to be updated because it does not have ublock origin for android in its extension application

The desktop browser allows me to edit the policies.json file to prevent browser extensions from being disabled or removed. Is the same thing possible on mobile? I need a way to ensure certain extensions cannot be disabled or removed from my personal device. Thank you.

I have tried over and over again to install Firefox and AdNauseam on my pixel 9 pro without success. I can install Firefox but there is NO AdNauseam extension in the Firefox lists and I cannot install AdNauseam through any other means I can find. Firefox and AdNauseam both claim to be the best pairing ever but neither at their source seem to allow it.

Why is this so difficult to accomplish? False claims, false advertising or something else?
