The new design for the address/tool bar and settings menu is much worse than the old one. How can I get it back?

How can I revert the previous view (list format) of the firefox menus ? The new appearance of the menus is extremely akward (to me), compared to the previous LIST FORMAT, as displays buttons that take up a lot of space on screen.
In this new appearance of the menus, I need to search for what was previously seen at first glance.
