Win 7 Home Premium Firefox Version 101.0.1
'Privacy & Security'->'Cookies and Site Data', 'Clear Data.'
When 'Clear Now,' Cached Web Content; is clicked, it does not zero out. (It used to clear completely).
The browser webpage has been refreshed, the browser closed and reopened, and the computer restarted but the cache does not reset.
This issue started on the morning (Pacific time) of June 26-Is this a known glitch or am I missing a detail?

Hello Mozilla support
I wanted to view the video at this site -
https://www.daserste.de/information/reportage-dokumentation/dokus/videos/die-recyclingluege-video-102.html
(The site is German public TV)
Firefox (my default browser) says the video is geoblocked outside Germany, and my DNS proxy will not unblock it.
I tried again with Chrome browser, no problem, the video is not blocked, didn't need the DNS proxy.
Could this be a firefox problem? It seems bizarre - a small proportion of videos from the site are in fact geoblocked, most are available internationally. And always previously, whenever I encountered a blocked video, my DNS proxy would unblock it. But not for this video.
Any ideas as to what's going on?
Thanks, Fraidy . (Firefox 101.0.1 64 bit Windows 7)

This isn't a question about the "Multi-Account Containers" addons, I am pretty sure that there was a section called "Container tabs" in the privacy and security settings, and I could use containers without installing an addon some days ago.
I can still access by directly viewing this address
about:preferences#containers
But I can't find it in the settings, and this feature does no longer work.
So I went to read recent release notes from Firefox 100 to 101.0.1, but I didn't find any notes to say this feature has been disabled. Could this be an unexpected result of an update?

I had a partial crash of Firefox browser where some windows with multiple tabs closed. I believe it was caused by my processor overheating. After correcting my processor overheating issue and restarting, the remaining windows that were open before the reboot restored as the previous session but the windows and tabs that crashed did not recover. Would those be backed up anywhere?

Firefox 98.0.1 will not load some web pages that other browsers will. I get a message about Network Protocol Error with the option to "Try Again" which hasn't worked. I've tried many of the fixes suggested here but nothing changes. If I copy the link Firefox won't open and paste it in Brave or Opera the link loads fine. I don't want to quit Firefox but I can't spend time every day trying to fix it either.

I don't want the pdf to save to disk without my will when I open a pdf file from any website. Fire Fox saves the file first, then opens it for reading. How to change it? I want to read the pdf first and then decide what to do with it. This works similarly in Edge. FF is my main browser, I wouldn't want to change that, but I have too much garbage on my disk. every pdf is saved first, completely unnecessary.

The update Firefox 100.0.1 ( or 2 ) has a bug: Firefox doesn't "see" the Fritz!Powerline ( LAN over Powerline adaptors ) and thus I can't enter the Fritz!Box. Even typing the IP address of the Fritz!Box doesn't help, because there is "no connecting" beyond the PC. The hardware works, so I can send and receive emails, but I can't access the internet via the firfox browser. Stepping back to 99.0.1, I had to "create a new profile" and all my previous ( before the update to 100.0.1 ) settings were lost, all bookmarks vanished ... I am rather angry, you know? This mail I'm sending via my notebook, as I this connects via 100 Mbit Lan network from an other room and as I had to "register" just to be able to complain ...

So, here's how CenturyLink responded to my recent "cry for help" (as Rick Astley sang . . .).
I am sorry to hear of the issues you faced trying to find an email address for CenturyLink. There is a known issue with Firefox not working with our website. The best way to access our website is by using Google Chrome and making sure the pop up blockers are not activated. Unfortunately, as the issue is with the Firefox browser, there is nothing we can do to fix that issue.
Well, guess it's time . . . after all these years . . . to rethink my interest in Firefox, eh?

I had issues with Firefox and reinstalled it. My monitor was cracked so bought a new monitor. Now web pages don't load properly. If on a message board or looking at emails, lines separating each post or email are missing. This happens throughout the web. separating lines, boxes are missing. It's like 90% of the page loads and then some parts don't. I've tried all the troubleshooting answers from Mozilla. Nothing works. Never had this issue for years of using Firefox. All of a sudden, web pages all look different. It can't be the monitor because the computer tells the monitor what to display. So something must have changed when I reinstalled Firefox. I've added a picture below of how the Ticketmaster page loads. It would always show each individual seat. Now most of the empty seats have disappeared along with the line separating each row. Makes it almost impossible to decipher the webpage. The blue dots are seats still for sale. The empty rows should also have dots representing each and every seat, but now only about 50% of the seats actually display. Anyone have any ideas on what is going wrong? Driving me absolutely crazy. Ruined my ability to surf the web. Every page is missing something. Usually separating lines. Any ideas?

One part of the article I read says the connection issue is due to HTTP, another part of the Article says it is Googles fault due to their HSTS security policy. I have to say Poppycock. I can successfully login to my Gmail on my tablet I just cannot connect to it with my laptop. Firefox itself is refusing to allow the connection. Unfortunately it happens more often than you'd expect. I am in no way or by any means capable of computer repair, but I seem to enjoy tormenting myself with constantly taking apart and rebuildingthis laptop, Took me almost 3 months to finally find out how to stop Firefox address URL bar from highjacking the search bar with that really annoying awesomebar in about:config. But something just seems wrong with the browser on the laptop not being able to connect, but there is no issue with the tablet.
Thank you for any advice or solution that could help me with this. Ive thought about the firefox refresh reset option instead of uninstall reinstall, but if there is a better solution

My software router isn't configured with a certificate so when I log in to router settings via its webGUI using my local domain IP address 192.168.*.* I get and accept the insecure message and can edit the router settings. However when I save the router configuration to my hard drive I get the file name placeholder with zero bytes. Obviously that's bad news if you go back to the XML file and find zero bytes. I tried adding 192.168.*.* to FF site exceptions. That gets the Webgui past the warning messages but the XML backup file the router wants to save is still zero bytes. This doesn't happen with Chrome.
What can I do?
Thanks

Firefox 101.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 7
The second tab does not close when I click the X.
The first, third, and subsequent tabs do close by clicking the X.
I can close the second tab either by right-clicking it and selecting "Close tab" or by right-clicking the first tab and selecting "Close multiple tabs > Close tabs to the right"
It's annoying, but not a deal breaker.
