The last 2 days Firefox has not been saving my open webpages

I checked my settings and it says I am set to reopen settings, but it is not doing it.

I do genealogy every day so I need my tabs to open...it lost the tabs I was going to work on the following day that I wanted to work on.

Also when I turned computer it wanted to make Firefox a default and it already is...It used to allow me to reload recent activity pages, but it did not after my Firefox crashed...it only listed about 10 pages,

I thought it may have crashed because I turned it off with 250 pages open, but it was very late and it would have taken me hours to look at all the open files

It took me a few hours to get some of the pages back, but I lost track of a lot of files I wanted to work on, but I lost track of many :-(

I am not a "techie" so I hope Mozilla support can get me back to being able to have Firefox save tabs again for me...I promise not to leave 250 files open again...that is the only thing I can think of that caused everything to crash

I have Windows 11 in this Thinkpad!! Why was using FireFox which I guess is out of business? So now I need a way to get Gmail, but Google Chrome has pop-ups that are taking up 25% of my screen space!!! Why? Help? should I go to Best Buy? What to ask? What did I do wrong? I'm 81. When I do a search on firefox I keep getting the following error and have to go through the CAPTCHA BS.

Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot.

This just recently started happening. I'm getting very tired of having to pick out crosswalks, or motorcycles of buses.

This doesn't happen when using Chrome. May have to ditch firefox!

When I click the firefox icon on my desktop, I cannot open firefox because it says Cannot transfer data from s.aolcdn.com

I want to be able to make voice and video calls via facebook messenger using my PC camera and microphone but, the message I get is that "voice and video are not supported on this browser (Firefox/Mozilla) . It is supported on other browsers. I really don't want to switch browsers, I love firefox. I did find a couple possible fixes via advanced WebRTC settings but everything seems fine, i.e. it is clicked on true not false. I need this soon, can we get settings changed?

I fill out a lot of forms online and use Firefoxe's autofill to fill in my personal info.

The problem I have is that autofill always puts a +1 in front of my phone number on the forms.

Since the form is only looking for 7 digits, it chokes with the +1 and won't submit. This requires me to manually click on the phone number field and delete the +1 so the form will submit. With the amount of forms I fill out, this creates a lot of unnecessary wasted time constantly having to correct it.

I have tried editing the phone number in autofill to remove the +1, and although it appears to do so, as soon as I save it, it comes right back again.

Is there an about:config setting that will remove this? I don't know why Firefox thought this was a good thing and not allow a way to edit it out.

How can the Firefox VPN start automatically at startup? The instructions say open VPN, click settings, then click settings, but I cannot find where is "connect VPN on startup."

iv'e been using ff to recover my google account and have gone between the android phone and windows 11 ,i have been having issues and not finished yet , should i be using the ff for android or windows?
