How do I change the display of signature blocks for incoming messages?

The default appears to be for light text. I subscribe to several message digests and if a message in a digest ends with a signature block then all subsequent messages appear as light text, which I find difficult to read.

I have noticed that few websites are not running properly on my firefox.. Youtube being the most prominent since i use that a lot. Some times it disables click on links and other time it does not redirect to any other page. if i open the page in new tab it only works then. I have tried reinstalling the browser but it doesnt help. It could be related to some update maybe cause it works fine on my other machines.

I recently installed my OS and backup the entire profile folder of Firefox. When I put the key4 and logins file in to the fresh install there was only one password in it, the remaining passwords were gone. I also noticed that a new file (logins.json.corrupt) is created along with file(logins.json). I tried to paste the files again to fix it but same issue. I think the files are corrupt. Is there any way to fix it?

Hello, just an ordinary user here. I am using Firefox long ago, 'till I switched just today. I ran basic security tests until I got to http://whatismybrowser.com. It says that I'm still running on FF78 but actually I am on FF83 [https://whatismybrowser.com/w/N7QEGDA] .I refred firefox and reset to the default settings still, the problem persists. First of all, I have to thank you to build the community in your freetime. I've changed my computer. I have 2 firefox accounts, the first for private browsing, the second one for work browsing, and I use them via different Firefox profiles. The configuration of the private account (adamsterbinszky@gmail.com) was succesful. But the configuration of the work account (sterbi@orfk.police.hu) was not. I've used this accounts since 2013, and I'd reconfigured them so many times, and there wasn't any problem until now. The actually problem is the unreceived verigfication email. I've tried the actions below: - checking email working -> Perfectly works. - checking spam folder -> There is no any mail in the spam folder. - adding accounts@firefox.com to contact list -> Done. I did not get the verification emails. The administrators probably changed the security settings. I cannot log in, I cannot sync. I tried to send you this letter from my work e-mail, but I did not find any support address, just this option. How can I resolve this problem? Thans for your help.

Recently, I have been experiencing issues with several of my Office365 SharePoint websites: some page elements are not loading, other are constantly reloading. In order to access my documents, I have to switch to either Edge or Chrome. Also some other pages sometimes have similar issues (xing.com and others). I have deleted all Mozilla files in %APPDATA% and reinstalled Firefox, which did not help. Looks like there is an issue with the current release (83.0).

Answered with: Internal pages are protected from addons. But you can simply select the dark theme in ≡ -> Customize.

Possible reasons not to work:

  1. The poster was an alien
  2. 42 (See no. 1)
  3. Mozilla devs just hate us. When we (have to) come for answers here, from a comfortable dark web - whether using Dark Reader, or some other means - they purposefully BLAST us with bright white pages so that we will never, ever use Firefox again and uninstall it right away and move on to something else (less idiotic).
  4. Seriously, though, see the answer in context was an alien.

So, who can tell us how to get around this, please? We get it, whatever: support.mozilla.org is, somehow, a local page - or, something - and it can't be styled, but how do we get around this BLINDING WHITE LIGHT? Thank you so much.

^^ addons.about ("addons.about-scheme") can be styled, Library (Downloads) can, Options (about:preferences) can and also about:about and a bunch of abouts can, also - only this website is locked like this, to torture people, why...

EDIT: Screenshots attached illustrate that, as suggested in the first thread from years ago, Dark Theme had been applied and it makes no difference.

I started having an issue where I do not get any audio from Firefox. Everything else works fine. Firefox is not muted, it's not turned down in the mixer. I completely uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller to make sure ALL registry and directories were deleted. When I reinstalled it did not give me the "You've already installed" message, so I know this was a complete reinstall.... Still no audio at all.

I hardly know how to describe the problem I've been having but I'm fed up with it! Just now I was in a site to purchase an item and clicked to go through PayPal. I could enter all my log in details for PayPal but it would not open the PayPal site. This has happened every time I've tried to use PayPal lately. I then have to go and use Edge and do my purchase through there, no problem at all.

Often when I've tried to open a log in window that opens in a separate pop up style window, that window will only open as a tiny window in the top left corner. I have to drag the bottom and sides to get it big enough to fill out. Then when you enter that info ready for the next section, it reverts right back to the tiny window once more. I've done all sorts of things in my settings and mostly no change. I did however get the bank log in window to stop doing it and work properly.

Another issue is the correct time for me here in Aust is no longer being recognised in some cases. One is the Track My Hours App. I enter 'Start now' and it says 6:55 AM when it's actually 4:55 PM on my computer clock! It is not the App as I now use it in Edge as well and it is fine there. I never used to have this problem with the much earlier versions of Firefox, it only started a month or so ago when I got a new computer with the latest version installed, at that stage I think it was 72 and I had other problems as well that finally got sorted.

I really want to continue using Firefox but can't do so with several sites and then waste a lot of time swapping over to another browser. I have version 83 now.

I was lucky enough to be able to buld a new PC recently, Running Windows 10 Pro on a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X rig, Asus Crosshair VII Hero motherboard and 32gb of RAM. Nvidia Gforce 1070 GPU (stand in until I can get better in the new year) Should easily be enough to run Firefox right? Apparently not.

Performance in Firefox is little better than it was on my old rig, (which was still lousy). The browser constantly freezes and locks up, not responding at all to mouse clicks between tabs or on the page. It is especially common when a website opens a file requester, such as when I'm working on my website in Wordpress, but it also happens when working with downloads or seemingly randomly too (my downloads folder is on the C drive and always accessble).

I've tried disabling all plugins (I only have 3, Privacy Badger, Facebook container and Sticky Password), I don't see what point there is in resetting the profile as I only got this computer 3 days ago.

Regards software that might conflict, I run Malwarebytes anti-malware and DisplayFusion but I've tried disabling the latter and still no joy.

I really don't want to Chrome but it's leaving me little choice here. Is there anything else I can try? Thunderbird on the same PC works perfectly.

I wish to slim down the UI of firefox to how I used to have it where the Navbar was disabled (yes the one you type URLs into), this used to be possible in an older build of Firefox but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore, Mozilla also released an addon to appease those who liked the feature when they removed it however they have since removed this addon.

I simply don't need the navigation bar and would like it to be removed for some more minimal interface. What's the best way I could achieve this?

Hello, i have latest Firefox on Windows 10. I have troubles with login to many pages (etc. Google). I have my login and password correctly in password manager in Firefox and every time when i go to google.com or facebook.com i am sign out and need to sign in, but with two-factor authentication. When i install Fiefox i use this manual to setup for privacy so maybe there is a problem. Can someone help me? Thanks
