I have selected that Firefox shall update the browser even when firefox not running. But everytime there is a new update, I just open the browser as usual but it takes more time because not only does the startpage open, a new tab is open as well telling me the browser is updated. I just want it to open the start page, no more, is this possible?

Hello, my laptop is a HP envy, 64 bit operating syste, x64 based processor. I have Windows 11 Home 25H2 version. Right now I have Firefox extended Support release, 115.390ers (64-bit) and my google email says this is not supported, also some of my credit cards websites won't let me use Firefox either. But I have Windows 11 so I don't understand why it keeps saying I have Window 8. I would like to update to the new version of Firefox that is normal for Windows 11 Thank you for your help.
