I have Firefox reinstalled, it is not syncing bookmarks, history. I tried to import booksmarks from edge but it could not find the file or said it does not have any bookmakrs on it which was not true.

Need to sync mobile and desktop with Firefox already installed using different email ID. Since new smartphone, thought it was safer. But unable to sync. Do I install new Firefox on mobile? Will I lose some saved sites on mobile?

I wish to switch to a new primary laptop. I normally use multiple machines in the course of a day. I have probably hundreds of open tabs on my main computer and even though I checked "Open Tabs" for sync, they never show on my other devices.

Following previous help recommendations I searched for the json sessions file...it doesn't exist anywhere on my system. The only other "help" was to "tap" tabs in the lower right corner. There is nothing in the lower right corner unless, perhaps on a phone, which isn't the device in question.

Cannot get FireFox browser on my Windows 11 computer to sync with my Android mobile phone or the other way around. They both can see each other but they won't sync.

Running Mint on a removable drive on Win 11 machine. Launched Firefox and wanted to sync across devices. Finally ended up here (see attached). There's no "synch & save data" and the other sync at top of settings doesn't follow that path. The image on the Mint desktop doesn't scan within Firefox and using a separate scanner app produces a "do this within FF" error. Confusing and no way to resolve. I tried an extension scanner no help. Attachment shows Sync Now only possible method not correct (what I describe above).2nd image is what I see on PC screen (via Mint).

i recently switched to zorin os from windows 11 and i noticed my firefox data was gone (despite being signed in + syncing my passwords) could it be my wifi? an unrecognized device? its the same laptop + network so idk what

Able to sign in to Mozilla account, but cannot find Sync anywhere. Sync is OK on multiple other devices. System also seems unable to load 140.10 esr. Is it possible to sync on esr versions?

I am trying to synchronise my web browser on my phone to my laptop, but when I try to do so using the QR code I get an error saying I need to use a Mozilla app to do it rather than my phone camera app (see attached)

I can’t find anywhere in my Firefox browser settings this app!

My firefox deleted all my passwords and bookmarks last night. I manually inputed everything from scratch and now it has all deleted again. I pressed sync no multiple times and nothing is popping up. I am extremely annoyed. If this isn't resolved I must switch to a new browser.

In the settings of Firefox there is a search bar you click it to type things in to search settings but I cant search settings? I type "Favorite" and there's no settings for favorites bar behavior? No, I don't want the favorites bar to delete itself after I click on anything. I want my favorites bar to be a favorites bar and stay there and not go away anytime I click on anything. It shouldnt just be there only when I click a new tab.

1) Why does searching the settings for "favorite" not display any favorites bar settings? 2) Why are my Firefox browser settings not persistent between multiple computers when I have enabled "Sync"?

I recently switched to Linux on both my laptop and desktop computers, and I have started having an issue where after closing Firefox, the process does not end fully, leading to a Firefox crash notice after a minute or two.

This seems to only happen when I have sync turned on. It always says "syncing..." and never finishes, and logging out of my account or turning sync off fixes this problem. However, I'd really like to be able to use sync across my two systems.

My laptop is running Pop OS, and my desktop is running CachyOS. Making a new account fixed this error for a few days, and now it is happening again.
