I've got Firefox on three devices and I'm looking to get a little more fine grained control between the synced data.

Ideally I want to sync passwords between all three but only sync bookmarks between two of them. This doesn't seem to be possible with the current options. Is there an alternative short of manually exporting and importing on the devices I want to keep in step?

Recently I had un/reinstalled my firefox via snap and apt from linux. I'm signed into my account yet locally I'm not getting data to sync across devices. Any idea?

I have lost all bookmarks on a new laptop. Recently added C Cleaner and did a scan. That may have caused the problem. But, now I cannot recover the bookmarks, nor can I save new bookmarks. The version of Firefox on my android phone has the bookmarks. I can see them. But, I do not see a way to sync the devices and import the data to my laptop.

Please advise.

I was at a friend last night and logged into my monzilla account on his firefox browser. To my shock all his passwords, over 300 of them, got added to my password. I just want to point out here that his passwords were stored locally without an account. As soon as I logged in it started syncing on my account. This is a HUGE SECURITY BREACH and should be addressed immediately. there should at least be a prompt or 2 making sure that I want to add locally stored password to my account or not.

If I had not noticed it at that time I would probably have gotten away with all of his passwords without me or him knowing. I had to manually delete the ~300 entries. makes you think how many times this already happened in the past for others.

Why can't I sync computer bookmarks to iPhone? I can't get my iPhone to show up on list of connected devices. I've tried everything in Help. I have a Mozilla Account. Running 135.0.1

From the Firefox Start Page on my iPhone (running 18.3.1) . . . the menu in the bottom right hand corner does not give me the option to "Sync and Save Data". This is a roadblock for me! I'm not a computer genius but I'm not completely ignorant. You used to be able to right-click a device in the sync tabs sidebar, and choose 'open all in tabs', but since the last update this has gone. So where's that option now? Thanks

The welcome addition of Tab Groups I just noticed on updating my Firefox, however looking through help and documentation, it's not clear to me if Tab Groups syncrhonise across devices (or at least desktop devices) as like recently added to Chrome. Wished to check if this is case

Hello, I have been sending links from my iphone to telegram, then clicking each link individually to open in firefox and then saving all the links as bookmarks. Is there a way to send links from my iphone to my computer or firefox so that I can open the links as a batch or save them as a batch of bookmarks without individually clicking on them? I was thinking about sending them as I get the links on my iphone individually as html files, then highlighting all of them with my cursor and opening them all at once as separate tabs in firefox, then saving them as a batch of links (which I know how to do), but I don't know how to send links from iphone to my laptop as individual html files.

I tried firefox sync but it does not work well with iphone, because it will sync and sometimes delete previously saved bookmarks. So I'd like a new route if you have one. Apologies in advance if I should be on the apple or microsoft forum, please redirect me if so. Thank you so much!

Hello, I use Firefox on two desktop computers and one mobile device. Firefox is being slow on one desktop, so I want to "refresh" it. The [page] says that extensions and search engines will be removed... but will they be restored by Firefox Sync from the other desktop computer? Or will sync also remove extensions on the other computer? Thanks
