Why am I being alerted when I sign in to Firefox to finish setting up my account? I think that I have had an account and already sync my devices for the last decade, but less than a century. When I follow the sync instructions i get put on a loop of needed to "pair from within the Firefox app," on my phone - which I was using when instructed to "open Firefox" very confusing as to what I am doing wrong.

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? Where tf is the sync and save data button on Firefox Android v 142.0

I am trying to sync with my desktop and there's no option under the menu for sync. The instruction given when I try to sync is to click the menu, go to "sync and save data" and scan a qr code. Of course the code doesn't work from my camera like every other qr code in the universe. It has to be scanned in the Firefox app but there's nowhere in the app to do this.

It's not in settings. It's nowhere.

Where is it, I REALLY REALLY NEED TO SYNC so that I have access to my bookmarks on my phone.

This shouldn't be complicated or difficult where is it???????? :( This is ridiculous.

To sync a mobile device, the instructions say to open Firefox browser on mobile, from Menu go to Sign In, aim phone camera at QR code. The 3 lines at the screen bottom right (i'm assuming this is a menu but printing an icon labelled "menu" is less cryptic) offers no sign in opportunity.

Dear support, I have 2 pcs and I need to enter sync password every time I open Firefox - start notebook. It works fine on the second pc and password is remembered. How to solve it? Hello Firefox community, I use Firefox Desktop on two devices — one for work and one for personal use. I’d like to have different bookmark toolbars on each device, but they keep syncing and becoming identical. Is there a way to prevent this (without turning off Sync entirely)? Or is it simply not possible to use more than one Firefox Desktop setup with different bookmark toolbars under the same account? Many thanks! Eva

I would like to know how I can choose the aster PC from which firefox snchronizes on other PCs and what to do, that it does not change direction when i am in vacation with the non-master PC

I had a Firefox debian version installed on my desktop running Ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and now I just installed the latest 143.0.1 "Mozilla Firefox Flatpak" version.

How can I synchoronized or migrate all my data such as bookmarks, add-ons, open tabs, settings for syncing ?

Over the years I have saved many bookmarks across several different devices. Therefore the bookmarks vary between devices. Is there any way that I can tidy up my bookmarks, deleting many of them, on my main machine and then have all the other devices Synch to that list only?

I have tried deleting ALL the bookmarks on the "subsidiary" devices and then synched them but that didn't work. I think I'm asking whether one device can be made the "master" for all the others to Synch to that one and none of the others.

I want to sync bookmarks between my private and business PCs. I want to transfer bookmarks from my personal PC to my business machine, but I don;t want to transfer any bookmarks from my business PC to my home PC. Can that be done?

How can I unsync desktop from laptop bookmarks?

Selected update Mozilla to Windows 11 yesterday on desktop and am now seeing two sets of bookmarks on both devices. Laptop bookmarks were originally separate from desktop. Laptop is mine and desktop is my wifes. Did not know that it would auto sync both devices.

Is it possible to unsync/separate?
