Steps to reproduce- (1) Enable 'accessibility.blockautorefresh' in 'about:config' (This is said to ask for permission before redirecting) (2) Go here (3) End up here without permission

Extensions I'm using- Privacy Badger, uBlock origin, clearURLs and Show/hide passwords

Another question, does enabling this setting also stop internal redirection?

I have a "policies.json" file set up and I am able to block certain websites on Firefox.

For example, mine is set up something like this:

{

 "policies": {
     "WebsiteFilter": {
         "Block": [
           "*://youtube.com/*",
           "*://www.youtube.com/*"
         ]
     }
 }

}

My question is can I block any website that has a certain path or keyword in the url?

I know that a few of the match patterns from https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Match_patterns are:

https://*/path/

https://*/path

https://mozilla.org/a/b/c/

But I'm not quite sure how to set them up (such as the formatting in the .json file) and/or what exactly they block. For example, if I wanted to block any website with a "path" = "Giraffe", would it block websites such as "exampleforum .com/giraffe/"?

The great and mighty Firefox that lords it over all other browsers about privacy has far too many opt-out features and options. I'm happy to know I participated in 22 studies before I found the toggle to turn it off, whatever the Hell those studies are. I haven't used Firefox in 13 years and this is the sort of non-sense I return to?

I don't actually want an answer, I just needed to complain.

I'm using Firefox in a kiosk-mode application, on a Raspberry Pi based system, started from a bash script like this:

# Clear history etc. to prevent problems if unit is not perfectly shut down rm -v -r /home/pi/.mozilla/firefox/*.default rm -v -r /home/pi/.mozilla/firefox/*.default-esr rm -v -r /home/pi/.cache/mozilla/firefox/*.default rm -v /home/pi/.mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini

sleep 2

/usr/bin/firefox-esr --kiosk -url http://127.0.0.1

However on booting I get a banner from Mozilla along the top of the screen saying: "Firefox automatically sends some data to Mozilla so that we can improve your experience [Choose what I share]"

This is not acceptable in kiosk mode, as it would give users access to the configuration as well as being a visual annoyance. How can we disable this?
