With security concerns on the rise, our company has required that all software installed on their systems go through an approval process.

As part of that approval process, they want to know the following:

• Is the software signed by a trusted third party?
• Is the software downloaded from a US hosted facility?
• Does the software perform call backs to the software maker?

Above SSL error appears randomly on different websites url provided where message appears momentarily. Researched several days unable to resolve.

Just after installing Firefox Quantum v66.0.2 (64 bit), I am now seeing tens of items being blocked by Ghostery, NoScript and UBlock, items I have not seen being blocked in the past. Is this new version of Firefox subject to being immediately hijacked as soon as it is updated? Is there now something different in Firefox's security for this new version? I have checked ALL of my Firefox settings and all settings are set just as I want them to be set, with this exception: I seem to have many more certificates than I really need and many of them appear to be from countries other than the US. Would I encounter problems if I just deleted all the current certificates in order to update the required certificates? Thank you, Rusty

I have had this issue for 3 days now. I am unable to access yahoo mail or yahoo in general because I get warning potential risk ahead message. I had to make twitter account to be able to get in touch with yahoo support but they just offered a yahoo link which, of course, I am unable to open because of "potential risk ahead". I tried solutions suggested by people here at mozilla support, like clearing history, cache etc but it didn't work. I also tired accessing yahoo via internet explorer and chrome (installed on my father's laptop, windows 10) Of course same message appears. I am using windows 7 64 bit. I also tried Edge and of course it says yahoo site is not secure. I have never had these kind of problems before. I was always able to access yahoo via FIrefox and other browsers. It's really damn annoying because i see no solution to this damn crap. Also I am unable to upload a 170kb screenshot to show you the issue. Just keeps loading and loading and it doesn't stop. So I guess I will just have to describe it:

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Hey I have the same problem but I'm using kali linux (download not more then 1 month& update/upgrade every day)and windows 8. Both firefox with same account.Whenever I input my new password. It's gives me update popup. But it's not update. I don't know about other account but I found in bugcrowd( I use a lot :D ).

kali firefox ESR version:- 52.9.0 (64-bit) windows 8 firefox version:- 61.0.2 (32-bit)

Another one problem is when I download something from internet it's open with visual studio code. But it should open with file manager. I checked everything works fine. If I download txt file from internet and it's open with code I will accept but unfortuanate it's working as a filemanager but it's not.

I recently set up my Android phone to sync with Firefox on my home PC. Am concerned when checking devices following an email from Firefox that said last sync 8 hours ago Novi Mi...I am at least 3 hours from there! So I was concerned that my account was not secure and I just disconnected it from the new firefox sync.

I don't know if "googleadservices" is an uninvited addon or virus but it inserts itself at the start of any webpage searched for. It effectively prevents the web page from opening at all, der! I cannot find any way of removing it, and ineffective advice has driven me to uninstall Firefox out of frustration, which of course is not what I want to do. From what I can see its been around for a number of years, so why is it still an issue in Feb. 2018?

I am trying to load YouTube, Wikipedia, and some other websites but I ended up with "Insecure connection". None of these are bookmarked pages, so https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1181480 does not help, as it is about search engines. Note that the websites I tried to visit are all HTTPS websites, but HTTP websites work.

The user identification request box changed from Firefox 52 to 53. I use a smart card that has multiple certificates, and it is now very difficult to distinguish one from the other when a request is made. In 52, the type of certificate was displayed in the certificate drop-down box. Now in 53 the only noticeable difference between certificates is the serial number, so I have to scroll down in the details section to determine if it's an "e-mail" or "id" certificate.

Is there a way to have the type of certificate displayed in the drop-down box, or change the size of the user identification request box so I can see the relevant info to distinguish the certificates?

When I am opening yahoomail in mozila firefox quick heal is warning me that , "website yo are visiting is fraudulent". This message didn't pop up when i am opening yahoomail in google chrome..

Hello Techies, facts are these: Firefox + HTTPS Everywhere on Linux, updated once a day. I connect to my webmail, Yahoo.com, and often the padlock turns to grey+orange triangle. But https is still present in the URL bar (by the way, I've set browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false). So I try and refresh page (F5), positive result only every now and then. I tried and switched to Basic display (I guess it should be lighter), positive result only every now and then. I feel I can't do anything to fix this annoying and weird lack of security. This "instable green" only occours connecting to Yahoo. When I connect to Facebook, GMail, YouTube or whatever I do NOT have problems at all. No difference using a normal, super updated session rather than a Live one (as I'm doing right now). I've written to Yahoo Help Community to explain as above and I was told it depends on the way Firefox "sees" Yahoo, and to ask You. Thanks a lot... To me it actually IS a Yahoo problem (not the first time, though...), but still I ask you whether you can suggest how to fix the problem or you know more about it. Many thanks and best regard. I am on a work computer. OF COURSE ITS NOT SECURE, I KNOW THIS AND STILL WANT TO VISIT SITES. take this dam thing off! This should be MY CHOICE not yours!! No wonder people are switching to other browsers.

I do not want ANY history of where I have been to show. I cleared my history and checked that it not show anything. But I just noticed, that recently closed tabs show where I have recently been. What is the point of clearing my history or having is disabled if recently closed tabs shows where I have been. This is crucial for someone who is having their account monitored by someone else. How do I delete recently closed tabs and is there anyway to disable that?

So, i've just received an email that someone "signed in to my account with Firefox 18 on 2016-06-23 15:18 UTC" Can i get info which IP/location was used while doing so ? I've already changed my password, but knowing that emails come with some delay and all you need is just a few seconds to sync all your passwords id say its a pretty bad thing..
