For some reason, IDM will not work in Firefox/DuckDuckGo. even though it worked a couple of weeks ago. I contacted IDM support who have tried everything they have, but no change.

Here is the issue: 1. I open Firefox (Duck Duck Go is my default) (132.0.2 (64-bit) 2. I type "vintage sci fi movies" 3. Click on "videos" 4. Pick any movie (example: The Phantom Planet (black and white but this does not matter) 5. In the Choose How you Watch, I click the left icon - Watch Here, and not Watch on YouTube; also click Remember my choice 6. The movie starts but there is no IDM dialogue 7. If I then click Watch on YouTube inside the movie, it switches to YouTube and the movie starts, AND the IDM dialogue pops up.

As I said, this worked in Firefox/DDG a couple of weeks ago.

IDM version is 6.42 Build 23, full (paid for) version Oct 15 2024 The IDM Integration Module in Firefox shows as Version 6.42.22, last updated Oct 28 2024.

Can you assist please.

I have a new macbook air running Sequoia 15.3.2, firefox is up to date, my battery which should technically last about 12 hours and I only get 5. Ran through everything with Apple and they said it is a Firefox issues. I don't have any extensions, add on etc. Thoughts?

Firefox regularly disconnects from internet while other browsers keep on working. I have disable all addons, still have the same problem. It works and then it suddenly just sits there and spins forever trying to load a page, while I can still work on other browsers. I have 1000s of tabs open so it would be very sad to have to switch to another browser.

I am getting Secure Connection failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR is there a way to bypass this. I tried 5 suggestions on YouTube and followed FireFox's directions for Avast, with no success.

I checked the troubleshoot and gave all the necesarry permissions on my Mac for Google Meet to use my screen (allowed audio, video and screen recording). Nevertheless, I cannot manage to share my screen on Google Meet. As shown in the screenshot, it offers the option to share my whole screen (I cannot select a window or a tab...) but for my audience neither this is working.

Could you please help me fix this?

Can not play YouTube videos anymore in current version from Firefox. Before this update (again not needed and messy one) they worked. The videos shown at home screen or recommendations on the YouTube website. Same for my subscriptions, current videos as videos I played earlier somewhere. The YouTube website shows their picture and then the "no content available" message. Refreshing that page and try sometime later, both do not solve this. Unknown why this is happen. It seems another "new" bug inside Firefox.

I'm not getting any audio come out from firefox. I've tried other applications and I'm getting sound across the board. All media is playing just fine everywhere else except my firefox browser. I made sure to refresh firefox, performed a full computer restart but I'm still not getting any sounds.

Good morning, after today's FF update - right click dropdown menus are terrible! Nothing works for me... Opening new windows, new tabs, adding to bookmarks, copying, pasting, etc... How can I turn it off because I can't use it. I need to have a menu like in version 133.0.3. If I can't change it, I will have to change the browser because I can't use it! I was browsing normally when suddenly the right click menu stoped doing anything. If I right click it still opens but nothing I click on does anything. I can't copy, paste, open a link in a new tab etc. It also appears to have new options on the menu that I don't recognise. I have no extentions or pluggins exept what comes default so I doubt it's that.

I tried in another browser and it worked fine so it's just firefox.

I can not get into my Yahoo Email account. When I log in it says, "Something's gone wrong".

I can get into my Email through a different browser on the same computer. This started last 

Wednesday (01-29) or Thursday (01-30). Help.

since i downloaded Firefox 135, my mouse wheel defaults to one line at a time and no matter how many times i change it defaults to one line at a time at the next startup.

I can't upload videos to YouTube via Firefox. Uploading progress stays on 0%. Using the Edge browser videos upload normally. It has always worked with Firefox previously.

My system memory is reading at 57% right now in task manager, that the vast majority of that is being used by Firefox.

Why?

Normally, this would be called a flaw in the program, not the user, as all I have done in regards to settings is "keep tabs previous open when re-opening Firefox" and "Do not automatically update" because Firefox took it upon itself to not re-open my previous tabs on the last update.

Why is this program eating up all of that memory? I have "Firefox (15)" in Task manager under "Apps" and then 13 more instances of Firefox in "Backround Processes"

Wtf?

Why does hitting my Home button open another tab? It's irritating and unnecessary. How do I make it stop?

For that matter, Why can't I open a new tab with my home page already open? I want Duckduckgo. You are bullying me into a blank page or a Firefox page. I used to have a choice.
