i am using firefox developer edition version 126.0b3 (64-bit) on linux mint with an x11 desktop and for some reason the drag and drop breaks frequently.

i think i have figured out how i can consistently recreate the bug as well as sort of fix it temporarily.

i start with a newly launched browser. everything works fine. but then if i attempt to drag and drop something shortly after i drag and dropped something else and it did the little animation where it returns to its original position, i find that i cant drag and drop anything FROM firefox to anywhere else. and i also cannot rearrage tabs.

it seems to fix itself whenever I drag something from another program TO firefox successfully such as text into a textbox, or a .html file into the window to view it.

I think with the update to 125, I no longer see the typical Windows window controls in the upper right - minimize, maximize, close - so I don't know how to do those things.

THe top right looks like this Mac-based image (where those buttons are on the upper left) but I'm running on Windows so I don't have the dot buttons on top left nor the Windows style min/max/close at top right.

What do I need to do to get them back?

I have Windows 11 and the Firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "Failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and restarted my computer but it still will not load. When i first reinstall it it comes up but will not connect to the intenet.

In Proton Mail, when I receive an email with an picture attached inline, I get the following error message: "Your browser could not verify the remote server's identity. The image might be hosted using the http protocol." Is this issue with settings in Proton or Firefox? How do I fix this? See image below. Thank you.

I recently got a new computer. Installed firefox onto it. Brought over my profile with all my data and bookmarks. But for the life of me, the page would just sporadically flicker. I tried messing with the settings; performance settings; hardware acceleration. I tried refreshing firefox. But nothing.

I am no longer able to view my Pinterest account via FIrefox. The page is blank and can't see any of my pins. Sometimes, I can't even log in to the account. I have contacted Pinterest and they don't know what the issue is. I have cleared cache, removed extensions etc but nothing seems to work. I don't have this issue with Google chrome or Microsoft edge. I only have this issue with Firefox. Why is that??

Hi I am a longtime user of your browser. I have version 124.0.2(64 bit) installed on three devices. First thing I do on opening it is to click on "about", which normally updates the browser, before I do any browsing. In the last three weeks, however, it has not updated on any of the three devices, rather, it says "Failed to check for updates". I have tried the workarounds suggested at your Help center, and nothing has worked. What gives, may I ask? Thank you

I have an iMac with Sonoma 14.3.1 with Firefox 115.9.1 esr . It is for personal use, not for a business. I just learned that there is another Firefox version (124.0.2) which is not esr....

Which version should I use and why?

If I should use the "normal" version, how do I replace the esr version with the "normal" one ?

something apparently got corrupted in firefox.. i tried running update and i keep getting failed to update.. i have refreshed.. i have uninstalled and reinstalled ...nothing. i am sure there is a folder or file somewhere that is corrupted and i cannnot find it. because even when i uninstall and reinstall fresh. all my bookmarks are there .. how to i start a TRUE NEW install??

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

I am on a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.4, and the lastest version of Firefox. The YouTube website will not load. It looks like the attached screen shot. I can access the site with other browsers. I can play a YouTube video with Firefox if I have a link, but I cannot see the rest of the page - just the video itself.

I have two audio device plugged in. firefox only outputs to the usb devise even though i have selected the aux out on windows. all other programs use the selected audio out but not firefox

any help would be appreciated

I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

"Error: "WWF2TUh4dnM=" - You're using an outdated browser or are using a Proxy service which is unsupported. Please update your browser or turn off your Proxy to continue, thank you."

how can i get past this? All help appreciated!
