I recently switched from Linux to Windows and installed Firefox on my new system. I signed in with the same Firefox Account that I had used on Linux, but none of my bookmarks, shortcuts, or other data have synced. It feels like a fresh Firefox setup. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: 1. Confirmed that I signed in with the same Firefox Account. 2. Verified that Sync is enabled for bookmarks, history, and other items on Windows. 3. Triggered manual sync multiple times, but nothing has appeared. Is there any way to check if my bookmarks were stored on the Firefox servers, and if so, how can I retrieve them?

Because I was getting frequent and numerous pop-up boxes asking for my Firefox Primary Password, even though your site claims you no longer use or require one. based on advice from a Cox Complete Care Technician, I set one up. I am still getting as many annoying pop-ups as frequently. Sometimes my primary password entry makes the pop-up disappear. Just as often, my PP entry makes the pop-up pop-off momentarily and come right back on minus my entry with no explanation or rejection message. Why is this happening? What is the point? My computer was compromised And as a result I had to repair and re install my Microsoft operating system windows 10 pro. That procedure wiped out my Firefox browser and now I have no record. Is there a backup that the browser keeps on a cloud.

I see a list of the my seven devices that use FireFox in the Connected Services list. I want to restore the data from my old phone onto my NEW phone. However, there doesn't appear to be a way to sync only the data from the old phone. When it syncs, it get the data from one of my 4 PCs. Can I select a data set to restore to my new phone?

Windows 10 pc can not start,I have gone through automatic repair and diagnostics steps,but am now on advamced options and think I need to Reset it.This will lose Firefox.When I install it again will I be able to sign into my Firefox account to retrieve bookmarks and passwords?I am very nervous about this,don't even know how to install Firefox,as someone gave me the computer and it was already in there. I follow the instructions on how to Sync and save data on my mobile, but there is no option in the options as described. I am logged in on both the phone and desktop.

Please help!! I use windows 8.1. After using the recovery function to a previous backup Firefox icon looked like a blank page and when I tried to open I got an error message stating that I was attempting to use an older version of Firefox which could have a problem or a virus. There were two choices, one was to exit and the other was to create new profile. Clicking on the exit did not resolve anything so I clicked on create new profile. That resulted in a new install of Firefox. I now have lost all my saved bookmarks!! How can I get them back into the new install of Firefox? Thanks. .

When PC is activated Firefox will open and then close and reopen. When opening another app and starting to work in it, out of the blue, the app will quit and Firefox will open automatically. Not at all times but very aggravating when it does happen. More often than not.

Today I used firefox on my PC, using duckduckgo. I searched "iKnee" which is a brand of knee massager. I found that site but also in the search results there were several offensive porn sites listed. The first time that's ever happened. Why has it happened this time? Can I prevent it happening again?

Long time ago I had this email let's say x@yahoo.com after some years i delete and made a new one x@gmail.com. On my PC every time I try to log in it goes like this: I put my x@gmail.com i put my password and it sends me a code on the same Gmail address... Very simple right? I put my verification code in and it says wrong password for email x@YAHOO.com... WHY DOES IT CHANGE MY EMAIL FROM GMAIL TO YAHOO ? I'M LOSING MY MIND I CAN'T LOG IN ON FRESH WINDOWS INSTALL!!!! I even reinstalled Mozilla, I've cleaned everything there is too be cleaned from the browser and same stupid "feature". Whyyyyyyyy????

I wrote earlier today that texts that I wrote with Windows 10 and tried to transfer to answer or add to an address became jumbled, illegible. It may be good to know that this also occurs with a number of adverstisement that are sent to me. What do I need to do to correct this?
