How to stop the auto-opening of a new tab after unloading all tabs in a window
When I select and unload all tabs in a window it automatically creates a new loaded tab in the same window. How do I stop the creation of that new tab? Thanks

When I open a new tab in a browser it goes to background by default. Is there a setting to have the tab open in the foreground?

I already tried going to "about:keyboard", but opening a new container tab isn't even listed as an option.

Not sure if it's a feature or a bug, but I noticed that if I 'save and close' a tab group containing an 'empty' tab, i.e. the about:newtab page, the tab does not get restored when the group is opened again. Before I was using tab groups, I often used these empty tabs as a crude method of separating bunches of tabs from each other. I have some large tab groups, open on the tab bar, that still contain these, as I have never closed them since they were created. (They're just collapsed.) I was planning on closing them sometime, after I'd next reviewed their contents, but now I'm not too keen on that! So, just wondering, is this empty tab deletion a bug or a feature? If the latter, what's the rationale?
Can I reopen Firefox with favourite tabs still open and pinned. MacBook Air allowed this. Does MacNeo?

Perhaps I have missed a setting somewhere - while I like the concept of pinning tabs, I use the side bar to display my open tabs. If I choose to pin a tab, that tab is pinned to the top. Great. However, if I wish to pin 10 tabs, for example, they are all pinned in a single row. What I would like to be able to do is to stack them, maybe 3 per row, then have the 4th, 5th , and 6th form a second row. Is this possible?
Until today when I had multiple tabs open at the same time I was able to slide them back and forth as needed...Now it appears "locked" - How do I unlock?
How do I re-open closed tab groups? And put it in your HELP menu!

I have a new mac, an M4 mini, and I set up Firefox the way I want it (the biggest ask has always been getting a bookmark to open in a new tab). Two days in, sometimes a bookmark opens in a new tab, and sometimes it doesn't. I have nothing else set up except for an ad blocker. I have not changed my OS from Sequoia to Tahoe yet, I strategically delay. It's not the end of the world. But I had strange things happen with Firefox on my other mini (an M2) in the last 6 months and I had to abandon Firefox and use Safari, which I hate. But that's a whole other topic. I've used Firefox forever, and it's my fave, and little things like this bug me. What am I missing? I set the option to False, and then reset it to True, and sometimes it works as it's supposed to, and sometimes it doesn't. So to not overwrite an open tab that has something important, I just automatically click on the 'command' key when selecting the bookmark. It's staying on my selection to 'true' and I've set it to false and then set it back to true, and restart Firefox, and I still get inconsistent results. There's nothing else that could be conflicting with this. I don't get it. Like I say, Firefox on my other mini just totally became unreliable and I had to use Safari. Any ideas? Thanks!

Two days ago while using Firefox my interface/window changed. Whereas before I could have many, many tabs opened across the top of my window, suddenly they are gone. I now have one place where I can put in my new search and no ability to easily access formerly opened tabs. So if I am in my gmail account I can open different tabs/searches and go back and forth between them and my gmail or between search and search. I like to keep open tabs that I want to return to easily - things I haven't completed reading, things I need to get back to to fill out something, etc. Now I can't get to them easily. I know that there is a history, but I am may be wanting to find a tab that I opened two weeks ago and don't remember the date or the name. If they were still opened in this bar across the top (and I am not referring here to bookmarks), I can find them. When I no longer want them opened I delete them. I don't know if this problem is due to the recent Firefox update or if I did something by mistake that caused this. It is making my use of Firefox as my browser very cumbersome and impractical. I also can't spend hours and hours reading through Firefox materials to see if I can find a way out of this problem. Ideally, if I could speak to an actual help desk person, that would be great. I am an 80 year old woman who would like to be able to keep up with all my interests and activities and not being able to use Firefox in the way that I have will really be an obstacle. Thank you for any help that will be offered. Louise

When multiple tabs are split the sidebar icons appear broken. This was fine before but now it doesn't work as expected.
on Mac, Firefox 150.0 does not show horizontal tabs. Not in full screen, vertical tabs off

I tried unchecking and rechecking all start settings. When I close Firefox, it asks if I want to close all tabs - the only option is to cancel, leaving Firefox open, or Yes, which would close all my tabs and not reopen the tabs on startup.
My recent history is also missing.
