I've been relying on the checklist widget - but it has disappeared, along with my other timer & weather widgets. I see no way to get them back, either in Firefox settings or in the home page settings either.

Several times I've seen Firefox bookmarks becoming lost, disorganized, or duplicated. The missing ones have typically been folders of bookmarks. The duplications have been typically of folders. The disorganizations have been folders ending up in a different position in the list, often at or near the bottom when that's not where I put them. What causes this, and can it be prevented?

How then am I protected in any kind of secure way?

All it would take is the Mozilla services using my public IP to lose my browsing protection. How are those connections secured to protect my identity from being exposed once the VPN is enabled and even after the VPN is enabled?

If the public IP can be discovered at sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi connections before the VPN is enabled, then that same public IP can be traced through internal logs to uncover all the VPN activity done after sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi access. So, how exactly can I trust the VPN protects my activity at all?

I'm just curious how you setup any protection prior to the VPN being enabled? I'm a former IT Network Specialist I had my CISCO CCNA certificate (Worked in school districts who wouldn't pay for additional certificates so I did all the study work and practice testing up to the CCNP certification just could never afford to take any of the exams beyond the CCNA). So, when I see these additional things like your 50 GB of free browser VPN and read how it works I get curious about the actual protections being provided. Are the people more vulnerable than they may be led to believe?

Hi, I can no longer login using Firefox (latest version for my mac 154.0) into a website that I had no issues logging into until now. Nothing that I am aware off changed on my computer during the last few months. I turned off protections for the website, but it doesn't help. It just sits there, no error message.

I can login into the same website, with the same exact credentials using Safari.

Any idea why this might happen? Does anyone else experiences the same?

Tell me how to get to my gmail account using the Firefox browser without going through Mozilla. The extra step is irritating, to say the least. And I've been using gmail for years without Mozilla.

As of yesterday, I lost access to my bookmark toolbar and have gone over Firefox instructions about how to recover it without any success. It sends me to the library link and everything I do from there doesn't work.

When using Firefox 154.0.1 (MacOS) and VPN, my ISP provider seems to randomly change between my selected country (Canada) and current location (US).

Is this a known bug, or is there a setting that I need to tweak?

I thought installing Foxfire would let me set it as my default search engine! However, I can't set it as my default, and I can't use DuckDuckGo because it doesn't have password manager extensions. Why bother installing Foxfire if you can't use it for default search engine?

I just finished making a pimary password and my computer got unplugged before I could sign out I had only fsaaved one passowrod in firefox for a site so far, and I noticed after rvbooting that it got erased. So it wont accept my primary password. I haven't done squat so far so I'm tempted to start over. but WTF? That's a really crappy bug to have. I guess I was just seeing if someone knew something I don't. But I have super low expectations about all this. What garbage. Imagine if I have hella to lose and this happened!

I'm really enjoying tab groups, but there's a feature that seems broken. After restarting my browser, I'd like to reuse the groups I've previously created. It appears you've added a menu option for that: "Add Tab to Group" -> "Closed Group" Unfortunately, selecting that just closes the selected tab, rendering those closed groups permanently closed. I can go ahead and add my tab to a new group with the same name, but that creates a duplicate item under the "Closed Group" menu. After using the feature for a bit, I know how quite a long list of duplicate items under a totally useless "Close Group" submenu.

Why is italways presued people have a mobile defcice to the point where tech services become inaccessible o them I know that I can hood wink the computer into thinking that it is an iphone. But if sync only works computer to mobile device that would be pointless. Did it ever occur to the developers after rooms of focus groups and testers that someone might what to sync two computers? Children are slaving away in places most of us would be terrified to set foot in just to make this garbage. If all you had to do to end child slave labor is put down your i-phone(etc.).... So as a society we believe that child slave labor is ok. I'm getting off topic but that last bit just served to flesh out my frustration for people laughing at my flip-phone. You can take that ridicule an cram it back down your throats with the decades of CIA directives that crafted the culture making you think that way. Just watch a congressional hearing on the topic. If aliens can make ufos, how hard would it be to subtly influence us through mass-media.? ":They've been here a long time." When I restarted firefox on my mac, it opened up a new window with no profile/bookmarks as if I was starting firefox for the first time. It doesn't have my old profiles. I suspect there's a "hidden" version of firefox someplace that does have my profiles, but I'm not opening the right version -- which is why it is opening as if I'm starting anew. My dock often shows two firefox icons, but there are not two firefox applications in my applications folder. The only one available on the dock right now is the one that opens a blank profile. And if I open firefox from the applications folder, it also opens a blank profile.
