Everything was hunky dory until the awful v48 update. With no other changes to the system, bookmarks are now annoyingly slow to use. If I try to bookmark this page for example, FF has to think for 2-5 seconds before I can enter tags. After saving the bookmark it freezes for another 1-3 seconds before I can do anything else. This is an awful downgrade.

There were absolutely no other changes to my setup except for the update. I didn't change any preference, install an addon, or the like. In any case, I performed a safe mode test and this makes the pauses even worse.

What else can I try? Your FF knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

I was working on the site yesterday and everything was ok. There was a Firefox update on my computer last night and today the problem above is on every page. There is no problem on either Safari or Chrome, I have reloaded the modem, and I have had the domain name supplier check their server and it is looking fine on there too. They have not had the latest update on Firefox. Please help. Kate Hudson

I am running Firefox 54.0.1 on a Mac Pro tower with OS X 10.10.5. Why doesn't JavaScript show up? I looked at your support forums and tried the config business. The log shows that JavaScript is enabled and "True." Now what? Thanks.

After recent firefox update, about 2 days ago, I can no longer watch live programs on fubotv. Had to switch to Chrome to watch fubo tv. After reading help articles I found that my firewall had been turned off, so that wasn't it, and there was no shield icon next to the url, so that wasn't the problem. I have an iMac, OSX Yosemite, version 10.10.5 and have been streaming MSNBC with no problems until 2 days ago, right after recent Firefox Update. Am now watching fubo tv on Chrome. Any ideas?

I chose to download all files to the desktop for some dumb reason. I have tried to uninstall, clear all info, downloads, files, etc, and it still reloads to the desktop. I am not presented with another option. What can I do??

I was able to download streaming media on my macbook a few years ago using firefox with its add on download helper. Upon upgrading to the current version and the latest firefox and its download helper that is now not possible. I only get as far as the file downloading but the file doesnt aggregate and convert. Would appreciate help.
