When I first started using Firefox I had imported my passwords from Chrome. In the Passwords menu it would show which onces were vulnerable (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-manager-alerts-breached-websites).

However, on any device where my passwords have been synced via my Mozilla account it does not show these alerts?

Is this a known error and is there a potential fix? I thought this was a good security feature.

I changed from google to firefox everything fine except when I send photographs from my I phone to my gmail all appears normal until I open my email and there is no image. It is very important that I can do this for my design work. What has happened? Other people can send me images. It seems that somehow in the change from google to firefox as my automatic go to I can no longer send myself pictures. My Firefox suddenly seems to be behaving abdurptly. The icon of the taskbar for firefox is also lost, and it was hard to open. I just updated my windows and I observe this effect. What oculd have gone wrong? What data would you need to get to root cause of this?

I uninstalled Firefox because it kept crashing when I tried to open a particular site. I followed instructions by removing several files on my computer. When I tried to reinstall it, wanting me to open a new account, and there was no way to sign back in my other account. I have lots of bookmarks and my Outlook files and folders were set up under the Firefox browser. How can I recover and restore what I had?

When I click on a txt file on a Facebook page Firefox no longer opens the file - it opens another instance of the webpage in a new window. The same link opens as a text file in Chrome.

new to firefox, i just did a blunder. i want to keep firefox separate from chrome. i accidentally had it transfer all chrome history, bookmarks, etc. trying desperately to undo. any help w/b appreciated.

The AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default\storage\archives\0 folder is taking up over 2 GB of space.

I have already tried clearing cache, it did not make a difference.

Is it safe to delete? When I navigate to it i see a bunch of visited web sites.

I have many computers and occasionally I wish to change OS. Is it possible for me to save my toobar of links and then to insert them when I install a new Firefox or other browser?

I have been using Firefox for a long time, and recently I upgraded my Windows system. Before the upgrade, I had set Firefox to open PDFs directly in a PDF Reader other than Firefox’s built-in PDF viewer, and it worked perfectly. However, after the upgrade, Firefox now shows the "Opening when completed" message and opens PDFs slowly, instead of opening them immediately in my chosen PDF Reader.

I have checked the settings, cleared the cache, refreshed Firefox, and even tested with other software, but the issue persists. The settings for handling PDFs are still the same, but they don't seem to work as they used to.

Can you please assist me in resolving this issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

What is the easiest way to import the current state of Safari into Firefox? Would like to create the same set of windows, with each window having the same set of tabs, if possible. I did a bit of googling but no success with what I found.

I really want to avoid manually creating all the same things one by one by one...

I'm not talking about importing all the history and passwords and other stuff - the actual windows and tabs.

ps - would like it to work with current release of Firefox, aka 134.02 on Sequoia and Ventura versions of macOS, as well as Firefox 115.19.0esr on an older macOS Mojave system.

right click save image as not working in ancestry, but works on other websites. Has always worked on Ancestry in the past. Just rejoined Ancestry & now not working
