I would like my home page to be the ABC news site. However, the default seems to be Brisbane Qld. No matter how many times I change it to my location, which is Melbourne Vic. and then select "use current page" in settings, next time I turn on my PC, it's back to Brisbane. Is there a way to set my home page permanently to show my location (Melbourne Vi.) ? Regards, Manfred

My Hoepage is set to Firefox. In the center of that page is a Search box which I used always. Now when I try to type in it, my cursor shoots up to the top to the ADDRESS bar. I do NOT want to SEARCH from the address bar. I want to search in the Firefox search box. I also have Duckduckgo set up in that search bar. After the last 2 Firefox updates, I can no longer type my search in that box, but can ONLY search in the ADDRESS bar. Please help be restore the use of the Firefox Search box.

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks

Each time I click a particular icon, it goes to a page to set up an account for that website. But I already have an account there. How can I change the icon to go to my account instead of the setup page?

The default FF homepage; I like it. It's cool that it gives me a few things to look at the refresh occasionally, and that they're filtered by subject. However there's some sites I don't wish to go to. Either sites that feel like clickbait or sites that have a paywall attached to them. I'd rather they not show up at all.

The thumbs down button does not work for this... in fact I'm not sure exactly what it does. For example there's a website that comes up on the NBA section that is always low effort, bad content click bait. But it's popular because of the sensationalism. I've thumbs downed specifically that website at least 30 times now and it's still a regular pop up under that section.

If there's a way to stop these sites from showing (not just stopping me from going the website through a website blocking app) that would be rad. It feels like an easy button to have.

Everytime i open mozilla, its just gives me the blank page. i go to the settings and change it but when i close mozilla and open it again it gives me blank page. i cant understand the problem.

I get three grey boxes at the top right of the Firefox start-up page. See the attached image. They dissappear if I search and enter another web page. The only way I can get rid of them is to reset Firefox. They return within 24 hours.

What are they and how can I get rid of them?

Hi! I'm experiencing a strange issue with Firefox.

Every time I start Firefox, the site addons.mozilla.org opens automatically — and it opens in fullscreen mode (as if I pressed F11). Here's what I've tried so far:

I disabled all extensions, but the problem still persists.

I changed the homepage settings to a blank page and even other websites, but it doesn't help — addons.mozilla.org still opens.

The issue happens even after restarting the computer.

I haven't reinstalled Firefox yet — I’d like to understand what might be causing this first.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

i tried everything in setting , nothing works these suggested shortcuts automatically attached to my home page i did deselect this feature in setting but still they pop up on my home page and the other problem is i am not able to search in my web search section on the home page what is that so ? why this isnt fixed yet ?
