Firefox periodically crashes several times a day over the past few months. The last few days, Firefox began to crash almost every time when i try to open absolutely different web sites. All other software i use and other browsers don't crash at all.

Windows 10 Pro v1809 Build 17763.55 / Firfox v63.0.1

As of a couple weeks ago I am unable to open the Calendar feature on Apple iCloud, or bill pay mode in my credit union account when using Firefox. Interestingly, at the same time the credit union main page warned to clear history and cache on all versions of Firefox which I did. In either case, when I choose these failing features the progress indicator either goes on forever or times out

Neither of these issues exist using Google Chrome or MS Edge? Solution?- Thanks for your help, IM

when I click the Firefox icon in my toolbar it does not open, but now I am using other operating browser. Hope u can help me. Thanks. Is it because I could not donate some money. Anyway I shall give some donations when the time comes. Thanks

Somehow websites have figured out how to play audio even when the Flash object is blocked. This did not used to be the case and I only recently noticed they can sneak the audio through.

I have looked around other help sites but found no solution. I have a link of an example, below. Note: this link has audio that is particularly annoying and vacuous.

This happens only on a specific site (http://kajgana.com), and the error persist on my both computers. It's so frustrating I've tried everything and apparentrly the "solution" is to disable flashplayer but I need flashplayer for other sites.

I'm using Firefox 48.0 on a WIN Vista PC & when looking at ads. (on Craigslist for example) QR codes (i.e. the actual squares) posted on the ads. do not appear on the page. However, if I look at the same page with IE 9, the squares are visible.

Why is this?

I have just installed the extension called "QR Secret Decoder Ring" (v. 0.7.0) thinking it might help but it's made no difference, as there is no "QR code square" shown to decode!! If the code squares are visible, I am assuming the above mentioned extension will show me what the code says. Is that correct?

A solution would be greatly appreciated, as I have already spent several hours trying to solve the problem.

Every time I turn on my imac, the firefox page opens automaticlly. Don't know how to stop this. Tried going into options with no luck. Please let me know how to fix this. Bill Montgomery

I am using Windows10 at home on my laptop. I use Windows 7 at work. When I use Firefox on my pc at work, and use Google Search I get the following menus: All Images Apps News Shopping More and Search Tools. At home I don't get the Shopping menu. How can I get that menu on my home laptop? I'm on v48.0.2 at home and v47 at work.

Whenever I have itunes or even a quicktime video file open on my desktop (Win 7 64bit), Firefox (v.48.0.2) will not launch. If I close iTunes or the quicktime file, then it will launch and then I have to re-launch the other applications again. Can't figure out why Firefox does this. This has been happening for over a year and I'm finally getting frustrated enough to post and ask why. It's a hassle when you are viewing a quicktime movie, a tutorial for example, then need to check something out online, Firefox just will not launch unless the quicktime video is closed first, why is that? I can repeat this issue consistently.

Only in Facebook i think i click on full screen but instead the video pops up but stays the same size. Then i click full screen on that and it gets bigger with a selection of other videos. Then i click full screen on that and it goes full screen (after missing half the video by now) then it does it to go back to normal screen.

I want FULL SCREEN i clicked FULL SCREEN not annoying little pop out etc etc

Is there any way i can stop this ridiculous setting and just have go to full screen, and go back to embedded version, i know what i want and i have clicked the button to do so, however they find the need to dick me about when all i want is full screen, been going on far to long this BS, please sort it out

I sometimes to to the website http://revcom.us by typing revcom.us. I went there last night no problem. Today, The url changes to this: http://revcom.us/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/static/css2012/basic-page.css

and it appears that the page automatically reloads at least twice per second adding another static/ every time endlessly.

Another behavior that began on this domain today is that when I put in one of the main pages on the site: revcom.us/avakian this comes up: http://revcom.us/SpryAssets/SpryTooltip.js

My computer is running osx Yosemite 10.10.5. Firefox on my other Yosemite Macs is not doing this.

When I downloaded firefox, I pushed a button - no idea what I did - and now the firefox icon with the "eject firefox" is all across my MacBook desktop - this info was part of the "how to" from firefox - how do I get rid of this and get back my old desktop?

Hello, I suspect I might have hardware issues with my MacBook Pro running on OSX 10.10.5. I decided to work in Safe mode for a few days. Problems I have with it mainly show when I work with Firefox (weird graphics aritfacts when switching tabs). When I booted my laptop in a Safe Mode and then Started firefox, the Firefox Window was very big (bigger than my screen) and in this window, only a proportion of what should be displayed is indeed displayed. I can even access firexox preferences, because the window is too big and I can't scroll in it.

I attached a screen shot where all the windows are shown. You can see two Firefox windows, each of them showing only a fraction of what a whole window should contain.

Any ideas on what to do with it? I need these windows to be smaller.

Hi, I have been using Firefox for years, with Win 3.1, Win XP, Win 7 and now Win 10. However this week Firefox has suddenly decided to go mad. When I open Firefox I start to browse web pages, and after perhaps 10 different pages Firefox stalls. First, there is a funny round icon for the cursor when I try to move the cursor, then after I click on the top task bar Firefox suddenly stops responding, and the page goes opaque.

The only thing I can do at this point is to shut down Firefox and restart the program. When Firefox is restarted it goes to the original page when it stopped responding. I can then use Firefox as normal for a while, but it will then stop responding again, And again. And again.

I have deleted the program and removed everything from the registry, three times, but once I reload Firefox it will start doing the same thing all over again.

I have finally formatted the whole hard-drive and reinstalled a cloned copy of the disc from 4 months ago, but this has not solved the issue.

I suspect there is a problem between Firefox and Win 10, but the solutions posted are way too complicated for me to follow. I have found that the easiest solution is to use Chrome, which I don't really like, but at least it is stable.

As far as anti-virus programs are concerned my laptop runs Norton Anti Virus, Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes, and they run scans on a constant basis.

As I say, I think that the problem seems to be that Firefox no longer works with Windows 10.

Also there are no add-ons or anything with Firefox, but if there was anything I have disabled it, I went through Firefox at the time and disabled everything that was there, but to no avail.

Perhaps some-one might have a simple, straight forward solution.
