When i am loading my proxy into the multi container app i get a message that reads "please enter valid url link" do i need to enter an actual link or just the proxy numbers and port? I reached out to my proxy provider and they do not provide an actual link to the proxies.

Amazon.com works on Firefox on my second desktop computer and on my iPhone. It does not work properly on my primary desktop, this one It does work on my desktop using Edge. Everything in Amazon.com works on this desktop except I cannot view my previous orders, the link in the upper right corner ""returns and orders." It begins to load but the orders do not load. I cannot see any of them.

I uninstalled Firefox, ran Ccleaner to clean the registry, then it's Health feature, I probably should have restarted after doing that.

I installed a new download of Firefox twice; it fails.

I have at least one extension that has had a later version than what I have for days and firefox is not updating it even though everything is set to auto-update. i hate to have to uninstall/reinstall it since I will lose all the settings I have in place. Any ideas?

The developer says firefox is just waaay behind on extension updates and it isn't their fault.

I synchronized my FF with another computer and made the mistake to remove all passwords before logging off sync so I lost all my passwords but a few.

However I still have the logins-backup.json on my main computer with everything inside. However when I replace the 'logins.json' by the content of logins-backup.json it's always reverted.

How can I replace all my passwords with the logins-backup.json content ?

Like the title says, whenever I try to zoom out of an image to make it smaller, it causes the image to zoom out very far in just one scroll "tick".

To be more specific, I'm talking about just scrolling (not using ctrl+scroll). An example would be with Piskel.com where you simply use the scroll wheel to zoom the canvas.

Zooming in is perfectly fine, but when I try to zoom out it seems to zoom out by 3 or 4 ticks. On some websites, such as Piskel, it even it zooms the image out all the way making it very small and impossible to see (It does it with just one scroll tick).

My question is if there is a way to change or fix the zooming, making things zoom out more incrementally. (I recently switched from Chrome which didn't have this problem)

Logged into https://www.expedia.com/ the home page tries to open but a second or two later I see a blank, white screen. I "Turned Enhanced protect off" Expedia page still blank I open GOOGLE and Expedia works perfectly

I have always used Gmail to email links, but it has stopped working. In Settings/General/Applications, the 'mailto" gives only the options "always ask", "Firefox (default)" and "use other". Previously the option to select Gmail was there. In fact, the list of applications only has 6 items instead of the numerous ones that were there previously.

I have just seen a clip on Youtube that concerns me. Is Firefox being phased out as a browser? I hope not. I have been using it for years and it is great. Please let me know. Many thanks Anthony

So, did what the instruction says and it solved the problem regarding discord.

But, since I changed that setting, firefox doesn't remember my google login or dark skin settings of other websites (it was always automatically logged in when I use YouTube. Not like it remembers the password).

How can I solve it? I resetted firefox multiple times.

I travel for work and often stay at IHG properties (Holiday Inn, etc.). I have Firefox as my default browser; version 99.0. I cannot login to their wifi using Firefox; I have to copy the address and paste it into Google Chrome and after confirming my information I am able to browse normally until the next day; It must reset at some point.

I have used Firefox to access a site for an online bank, Synchrony. I was able to establish an account at this site and access my information. Now I sometimes can use the site but more often receive an error message, "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://auth.synchronybank.com/account/login" on this server. When I spoke with someone in the Tech Support group for the bank she said the problem was with Firefox and not something they could address. I am able to get to my account using Microsoft Edge, as I have to to get to another site, Shockwave.com.

I much prefer using Firefox than switching browsers for certain sites. I would appreciate if someone at Mozilla investigate these anomalies and determine the appropriate fox within the app. I don't know what changes were made in Firefox when it was updated to my current version, 99.0 64-bit.

When downloading files from within Firefox, the option "Always ask you where to save files" seems to have stopped working recently. (Since version 98 or 99.) Sometimes it appears the selected files don't download at all, and other times it looks like they get downloaded to the Downloads folder. Still others, especially .pdf files, get downloaded to some unknown location, and then get opened in another application. I experienced no problems up until just the last week or two.

Good day! I trust you all are well. I am using a Kensington Expert Mouse (wired, K64325), and KensingtonWorks application for settings. Although I use the slowest scrolling speed, the scrolling is still very fast i.e. one click is a full screen. In other applications the settings are working well. How can I slow down the scrolling? whenever I search something that (is / sounds like) a product amazon links or other online shopping links show up as the number 1 results after a short delay. I have been redirected to amazon many times when I tried to click the #1 result but the amazon link pops up where the #1 result was.I have uplaoded 2 images the one where steam is the #1 result is what i want it to be, the second Image is what happens after a short delay.

I see the thread was closed without a solutuion. The CIRCUMVENTION being 'fiddling' about with 'config'. Just to re-state.... Since Firefox 98, PDF files that are OPENED within Firefox are also automatically (and INCORRECTLY) downloaded. If the PDF file is subsequently requested to be downloaded (using the 'button' within the PDF display/window), Firefox will either: Prompt stating that the file already exists; or (if the user picks his/her own filename) a 2nd copy of the file will be downloaded. Sorry to be direct but THIS IS A BUG THAT NEEDS FIXING.

Since Firefox 98, whenever a file is downloaded or a page is captured (using add-on Page Saver WE) a display/pop-up appears in the top right-hand corner of the screen (or possibly under the 'Display Download Progress 'button'). Previously, this prompt/display/pop-up would disappear after a few seconds. Now it stays there until there is a mouse click anywhere on the screen (including outside the Firefox window). This is presumably a bug and it is also extremely irritating. Please change this back to the way it used to be (disappearing after a few seconds) or provide an option to specify how long the prompt/display/pop-up should be visible - like the 'new mail' prompt from Thunderbird. New computer, running Windows 11, McAfee LiveSafe came with for 30 day trial. I use Firefox, have since 1997. Just added Mozilla VPN. Old computer ran Xubuntu. Windows 11 needs antivirus because it's Windows. So. How compatible are McAfee LiveSafe and Firefox with Mozilla VPN? What suggestion, if any, does Mozilla have for an antivirus program that will work well for Windows 11 but not mess with Firefox and Mozilla VPN? Thank you.
